MrNineCherries Many thanks :)! The steering wheel is simply linked and driven by a micro servo, sitting below the dash. There is enough room for it in this model👍🏻

Herzlichen Dank😎, wenn Du magst findest Du auf meinem Insta noch mehr von dem Wagen. Der Antriebsstrang ist Serie, aber hinten mit einer Strebe gegen Verwindung verstärkt. Die Blattfedern sind weichere von RC4WD, und vorne ist die Achse ganz wenig versetzt und der Servo auch. Also alles in allem „abgeändertes Original“😄 LG Tom
@@TomsRCScalers Moin Tom! Und Dankeschön für Deine Antwort! Ich vermutete es schon. Die Verschränkung ist wesentlich besser als beim Serien - Fahrzeug, meine ich. ("Blattfederpakete" bei den meisten RTR oder Bausätzen, verschiedenster Hersteller, sind meist zu steif, habe ich beobachtet). Und vor allem bewundere ich die akurate, saubere Ausführung des "Tunings". Ich nutze außer WhatsApp keine anderen Internet Plattformen. Trotzdem danke nochmal. Ich werde weiterhin ihre Videos auf UA-cam sehen, zumal meine handwerklichen Erfahrungen und erlernten Fähigkeiten eher rudimentär sind(erst sehr spät mit dem Hobby begonnen) MfG Micha

What axles are they or are they the ones that come with it
Yes they are simple the ones which came with the set from Cross RC. However, in the meanwhile I modified the steering a bit to get the steering linkage more up and away from the ground. I really can recommend those axles, they are nice lokking and robust.

What kind of camera, gimbal, slider do you use ?
Chris31 Productions Thank you my friend! I'm so happy to read this - I'm just using a normal compact digital foto camera (Sony RX100II) with FHD60 video function, mounted on a selfie stick. No gimbal. But I think the cam has a steady shot😉. For the interior and fpv shots I am using an YI 4K action camera (almost as good as a Gopro5, but cheaper) and a lot of splicing tape😂..instagram.com/p/BYSloVZAR-a/

Is this the rc that cost around $30-40? I seen these alot but I'm guessing there are several different models?
I know which car you mean - no it's not that, unfortunatelly. This is a more expensive and bigger scale size (about 1/10 size) car which can be bought as a set to be build. It is from Cross RC. The $30-40 car you mean (sometimes named WPL, sometimes named Heng Long and about 1/16 scale size) I have it as well. I prpbably will modify this to make it more performant and when it's finished make a movie for this UA-cam channel as well. JULIAN Hi, ich hab tatsächlich vor ein Video mit dem kleinen 1/16 er zu machen. Der erste Teil wird das Fahrzeug im Einsatz zeigen und der zweite ein paar Illustrationen des Umbaus. Doch zeitlich ist das noch vollkommen offen, es kommen vorher noch andere Videos dran. Vermutlich wird es erst gegen Ende Jahr oder gar Anfangs nächstes Jahr folgen. Can you control the speed of the truck?
lawand gardi Thank you, yes - but you need to buy the electronics separately, meaning a remote control with receiver, speed controller, a motor and steering servo (as well as a second servo for the gear shift if you don‘t want to drive in first gear only).

good job onthe backing music, as the noises this thing makes outs me off buying one, esc speed control is limited, and the steering servo sucks ass, replace for more conventional one.
skdz gameplays Thank you very much - you‘re right - there are some things which can be modified for improved performance while building this truck (as on many others is the same case). I‘ve put the steering servo (a Hitec HS7954SH btw) lower and used a very long servo horn - you can see this when you look closely on some of the scenes. Also the noise can be improved by using a smooth motor/esc combo (i‘ve used Novac Timbuk2/Ballistic) which allows to drive in the 2nd gear for most of the time, as well as assuring enough gear mesh.
