They are slick. Though I am definitely loving those Monstrum cable guides. So minimalist. Almost as minimalist as a zip tie, but with less sharp edges.
@@dooshbagwithagun6515 Better grip, I'm assuming I could paint it if I wanted to, and I figure that a tape with any sort of service life related to playing hockey is going to be durable enough for wire management
Go to a bicycle shop and ask them for old/damaged inner tubes. Get different sizes and cut them to your desired width. That’s basically all ranger bands are.
You ain’t wrong. I love me some electrical tape and zip ties. Little known fact: both them things were made for securing wires.
I ain’t ever wrong
Good information, but I guess that you can call me "foo-foo fancy pants", cause I use the emissary cable clips that replaced 2 zip ties!! ;-)

This guy is the bees knees
I've been using hockey stick tape for a couple years now and been pretty happy with the results.

I'll keep it in mind.
I've been hear about Ranger Bands lately.
A Navy Walrus on UA-cam was talking about them.
I guess you can get them from Amazon.
Those are essentially big rubber bands. I’m sure they’d work fine, but “install” wouldn’t be much fun. But price is reasonable.

@@MrAdams0057 I've heard about using old bike tubes back in the stone age when Glock Gen 3s were new...😁
nice thumbnail!
if you use ty-wraps, cut them on the short edge w/ diagonal cutters (harder to do) to minimize the sharp edges.
I won’t debate ya. It’s economical, practical, versatile and ambidextreeous. What more can you axe for?
Finger nail clippers also do a good job at not leaving a sharp edge.
