Thank you for your no nonsense review and for tallying the cost of the full size products. I usually add up the cost of the items I like only, to see to determine whether it’s worth buying.
That's the best way! Only add up the price of the full sized products that you will use. The total NEEDS to be what you pay for the calendar. The other products in there are all gifts with purchase!

Thanks so much for the review! I really wanted the SpaceNK calendar but it doesn't deliver to Australia, so I ordered the Cult Beauty one instead.
Oh no! Someone said they listed some countries where they don't ship it, but I didn't see Australia's name there.
I probably still don’t need to buy more skincare or makeup for another couple of years, but this one is looking decent and I could potentially be convinced to buy it… with a discount and/or GWP and my loyalty dollars.

Im all for the hair care products, especially the Color Wow and masks 👏 Its tempting this one but agree on the price.
I used to buy space nk advent calendar every year but this year I'll pass it; too many hair and lips products and the skincare doesn't excit me... and is it really christmas without a candel in day 24/25? 😢
I dislike getting hair care products in advent calendars. 99% of them won't suit my hair. We all have our set products, and very few of us actually experiment with our hair care. It's a lame way of filling a few doors, unless it's all rich, luscious masques in full sizes!

This will sell out fast and I don't think we will be getting a GWP either, it's going to sell out fast!! I really think it's aimed at younger people as there's not much anti aging products, I really think they could have put a medik8 retinol serum in there, it's all Hyaluronic acid products, if I am wrong please tell me. Not sure about the sun screen on day 25 but besides that, this is great value and so many products that I purchase or wished to purchase
You're right. I feel, over the years, Space NK has remained more or less "decent" without being "absolutely beyond brilliant" or "SO pathetic, it makes my eyebrows fall off". I only wish they would stop increasing their prices so much. I can't afford it unless they have a nice offer going with it!
@@CosmetopiaDigest yes I agree! I can’t believe how much the price has gone up over the years! It was only two years ago I paid $270aud (with a discount) and this year it looks like it’s going to cost $480aud that’s absolutely crazy!!! A gwp or discount would still not give me the type of savings I got only a couple years ago..! And the cost of living now makes it harder to justify these increasing price hikes!

I remember either last year or the year before they had the offer £10 off every £50, or something along those lines, the calendar wasn’t included in the discount though but had been previously
It is A$487 without a discount. The calendar is super solid. Lots of items i will use. I think at A$400 i will buy it. Or hopefully with gwp then definitely a go for me.
Unfortunately you couldn’t use a discount code and you also don’t get a special gift with the purchase 😢

I was looking forward to purchasing the Space NK AC this year, but to be honest I’m a bit underwhelmed with this one.
I feel last years was a much better curation of products. I don’t know,
I feel like there is something missing in this years Space NK AC for me.
I'm knee deep in product because I went mental last year and I've had a couple of cult boxes as well. I'm only interested in skin care this year. Yes style might tempt me but too much make up for me in this.
I hope YesStyle is fabulous this year, with a very cutesy box! If it isn't, I'll look at one-off boxes, or do a nice K-beauty haul. I've had enough of paying huge amounts for products that aren't up my alley.
Nice shirt, Renu! A very decent calendar, but I don't want to pay VAT and mail forwarding and I have skincare and makeup which I need to use up.
Thank so much - a recent buy. Gosh, it's definitely not worth forwarding postage costs, and VAT... maybe Holland and Barrett, or one of the European ones, like Sweetcare, but definitely not this.

I completely agree. Even though the value is there with Space NK, it’s quite underwhelming, especially compared to last year. My other favourite last year was Selfridges but disappointed when I saw the reveal for this year!
The only one that has stood out at all for me is the Harrods calendar although their couple of make up selections could have been better. The skin care products are fantastic though! Love the Harrods Fragrance calendar too.

I've been watching the infamous Emily in Paris, and Augustinus Bader managed to find its way there ! Though with a shampoo for mature hair in need of a marketing campaign 😋 The Ultra Violette sunscreen smells like roses (so I love it) and has some glimmer in it, you'll be glowing for sure if you use it XD
Oh wow! That sounds like product placement! Oh no, I dislike glowing products. But apparently they have a tinted version, which I've been meaning to try - IF I can guess the right shade for me LOL.
I'm scared to wait for a discount for this one. I did that last year and it never went with discount... and one day it was sold out.😮😢
I love it again this year. Maybe I will wait for one GWP round... if it doesn't count with that I will just buy the calader anyway.❤
Last year I waited not for a discount but for a GWP - and it sold out before they had any. I was checking daily, so I know that I didn’t miss it.

I agree with you, I like this better than Harrods and l think it's better than last years SpaceNK.
Hoping we can use a discount code or the GWP is good because the price is high.
I've tried multiple products from Skinrocks and have really enjoyed them. I absolutely love the moisturizer, my dry skin loves it.
I love Paula's choice but I wish we would of got a different product from them or the new exfoliant.
Right? I have at least half a dozen of the 2% BHAs in 30ml, and two full sizes. And, that's AFTER giving away a few!
Good to know about Skin Rocks - thank you! Will try to budget for them (I have multichromes from Clionadh, and Oxygenetix foundations, and ONE advent calendar scheduled for this year, so let's see).

I love the gel exfoliating product from Paula’s choice, not the liquid, the full size liquid was either part of the 2022 calendar or was in the GWP as I got both from space NK that year!

I'm always tempted by spacenk calendar, even last year's was good but I decided to be on a low buy last year and it didn't stay and sold out fast. This one's also looking nice but I'm on a No buy and I'm holding off until blackfriday sales! Turns out I tend to use products I love and trust more than anything I want to try ...so let's see if there's a discount or a gwp then I may change my no buy... lolzzz please do share any discount codes you'll come across 🙏 🙂
Renu, i just looked at Space NK website, its been updated that the calendar cant be ship to Australia. I think it could be restrictions on the perfume.

There was a GWP a few days ago, but IDK if it worked with the calendar, IIRC - I was on a break that week! I think there should be a code if it doesn't sell out first, for Autumn.

Can you get this in the US? Are you going to do P.louise? You should do 1 beauty box- the monthly p.louise budget box. Its so worth it & when they do the trendmood boxes those are too. I used to get ALL beauty boxes. I no longer do. They are crap.
I used to get about four or five boxes a month, including from Japan. Now I can't stand the lot. They are SO full of tat or repeats or low-value items or minis.
@CosmetopiaDigest I agree. I had all boxes. P.louise is worth it though. Its such high quality makeup and the packaging is to die for. I was done with the filler items.
Wow expensive 😭 but worth the money with that many full sized products!! It's going to be hard to match I'm sure! Too bad they didn't replace a hair product with another skincare one 😬
We had a dream coat last year, milk setting spray last year, primer this year and drunk elephant lala retro again. They could have picked a different DE product. 2 HA serums, not great. Nobody I know likes Sam Mcknight products because of the smell. 2 sunscreens? Last year’s one was just perfect. I know they can’t please everyone of course. The brands are fine but I would have changed the products. There is sooo many great products at space nk that they could have picked.
Am I the only one disappointed by this, last years was so much better!

I agree with you. I splurged on last year's and am happy with that purchase. Lots of full sizes and lots of brands/products I wanted to try. This year doesn't appeal to me as much, but I am sure it would be great for others. I think it's going to be a standout this year.

Too many hair products for me, I’d rather body products instead. I had last years (anniversary present from my husband)and still have some items I’ve not used so I don’t think I can justify it this year.

Depends on the website - each has a different policy. Even so, the usual Cult Beauty, or Space NK, or Selfridges general policy may not apply to their advent calendars. Best check on the respective calendar's page while ordering. Sorry this isn't of much help!

Eh. They're all SO repetitive within themselves! Sephora has two mascaras; IDK why. Cult Beauty takes the cake - two lip balm products, two eyeliners, two sheet masks - that's among the full sizes alone 😂

Yes, Harrods has more high-end skincare brands. Did you see last year's Sweetcare calendar? That was mostly pharmacy brand skincare; I loved mine, and hope they do one this year as well.
