This Series will focus on the teachings and Preachings of Maha Swami brought out through a family of four generations. So it is a Series on Periyavaa linked by this family. The head of the family BAPURAJAPURAM BALAKRISHNA SASTRIGAL had been with Maha Periyavaa since 1960 and follows HIS footsteps meticulously.
'PERIYAVAA' series will provide an insight into the life of KANCHI MAHAN, HIS Upadesams, HIS untiring efforts to reinstate SANATHANA DHARMA, VEDA SAMRAKHANAM and also highlight HIS views on varied subjects including art & culture, science, politics and how a human being should conduct himself in his day to day life!
The highlight of this Series is almost all the artistes are facing the camera for the first time!
The series will focus on the seer who is believed to be the REINCARNATION OF LORD PARAMASIVAN himself, having descended on the Earth to propagate Sanathana Dharma and lead humanity to the path of righteousness.
The prime aim of the Series will be to highlight the purpose of HIS being on this Universe and what HE lived for, rather than capturing the miracles attributed to HIM.
The series is to be totally funded by the Rasikas with their contributions

My sincere prostrations to Periyavaa and Shri Bombay Chanakya to have given me an opportunity to be part if this series as the character “Rangachari”. For a novice such as myself - his depiction of the scene and act-n-show helped me a lot… Being part of this project is a great blessing for me. Maha periyava Saranam.It's good that people stay away from silk and go for ahimsa silk.But if young girls want beautiful ahimsa silk sarees for their wedding and still want periyava name in their wedding invitation card,where can one get such sarees from? Whether Nall. Silks or pothys or Kumaran or Kalyanor RMKV weave and sell these reliably in their shops? please make such information available easily if any body has it with them.

வாசிப்பு, படிப்பு இரண்டும் ஒரே பொருள் கொண்டவை. (Reading)( அர்த்தம் புரிந்து வாசித்தாலும் இல்லையென்றாலும்).
வாசிப்பு என்பது தமிழ் சொல். வாய் என்பதிலிருந்து வந்தது.
படிப்பு என்பது पठ (path) என்கின்ற Sanskrit சொல்லில் இருந்து வந்தது. கிராமங்களில் பள்ளியில் என்ன வாசிக்கிறாய் ( என்ன class) என்று கேட்பது வழக்கம்.

Covid la even if person was in India, body would not have been handed over. Its karma, not because she went abroad. If she had kids who were there, she might not have been able to come. Then, she is able to give free accomodation to others only because she earned abroad illaya...
I feel there is some logic what Srimathi felt. Though body of covid victim was not being handed over to the relatives, atleast relatives would know about the conditions and status ( they could not visit but otherwise were updated with the conditions). In case of people in other countries , since there was no transportation( even within India ) , they could not be nearer to close relatives like parents etc., And that was hell. It is true that she could not have stopped his death even if she was here. Might be if she was here , her father could have avoided covid infection situations under her care and awareness( I don't belive in karma). It is a normal feeling for the people after losing . It is not impossible to come back even if she had children but their cooperation also would be required. ( It has happened in many families). But whether she would have selected this track( Periyavaa சரணாலயம்) if she had children ? May be or may not be.. But I doubt whether she could have earned that much to continue to this track (without taking donations using own money). It is difficult to save money in US of A ( that is what I heard)..
@@kvs6830 during covid, even if you were own son or daughter, they couldnt have done anything. So according to me it doesn't matter where the person was. I agree it is her feeling and her logic. But that is no reason why others shouldn't go abroad and earn/ make a living/ live in a country where there is no reservation/ get equal opportunities. Yes it is not impossible to come back if she had children, just more difficult. She is lucky she has a cooperative husband even. And mostly super cooperative in laws as well. And it is not difficult to save money there, I have done and know several people who have done/ do it. A dollar is 80 rupees. The math is sufficient to save. Even if you save 1500 dollars a month (with both of them working that wouldnt have been difficult at all), it is 120000 a month savings. That's how people purchase house in India, including me.

Sorry in real life I never seen any Brahmin friend or family helped us. Even now I am trying to find a place for my sister who is eighty and living alone. I have to go from Sydney to stay and look after her. Very shame we can’t find a place for our old age middle class seniors. Very upsetting situation

@@kvs6830 that's what normally happens. After putting on Swami or on great persons, the lemons will be distributed to devotees or made into food and eaten. If it is worn for a different purpose duchas drishti, it is thrown away. For that, they only keep very few, not so many. Whenever we have got lemons, I have made juice or rice depending on the number of lemons.

The serial was not about revenge. It talks about our freewill of today becoming our fate tomorrow. It talks about the fact that we should always do good karma. Rukku, through her bad deeds, lost her husband and experienced untold sufferings of a widow of those days. However, through her good deeds, she gained a very good name, was an example to other ladies and attained anayasa maranam. It talks about the importance of agraharam way of life. Revenge is a very minor part of the serial - used to sustain audience interest.
