i love how the swinging bell almost perfectly syncs with the intro song
I was 22 years old and my father and I went down to see the 1522, I can't remember where we were but I'm sure we are in the video somewhere.
What kind of whistle is this, cuz it sounds a lot like Big Boy 4014.
A Frisco long bell whistle. It’s also a steamboat whistle which you’ll pick.
Cool video man!
I have this video on DVD, and it's great! A good buy!!
I think the best way to learn about something is to see it in action not watch it sit in a museum all the time.
Nativia Blu costs a lot of money to keep em running though
Beautiful loco! And thank god for NS. If it was all CSX there'd be no steam at all
Frisco 4-8-2 Mountain 1522 was pulling the 1st excursion for the Norfolk Southern and Burlington Northern in 1988 and she continued on excursion duties for BNSF all the way until 2002 after the Norfolk Southern Steam Program ended in 1994.
Shame 1522 will never run again
Why not? It’s a beautiful working Locomotive
To bad that they didnt run to Centralia Pennsylvania, the Ghosttown.
Nice
1522 has a UA-cam channel his name is frank
