Every time I listen to the guitar from the beginning, my skin bristles. This song is art and the truth makes me sad that in these times there is no music like that. I love Judas Priest and this song is art and it is the best thing I have ever heard in my life.
I thought Judas Priest made the ultimate Heavy Metal album with NOSTRADAMUS, then they kept making albums after that ... and they keep on getting better! Truly awesome ever since I was 16 years old - Robert Halford has sang the sound track to my life.
got the album last week and i just CAN'T stop listening! Fuckin amazing! Rob can still scream and sing better than the rest! even in his sixties! All hail the metal god!

Rob is just amazing singer. He´s around 60 years old and he is still one of the best singers out there. That growl and then the high tone is just fucking incredible.Love Priest, great album!
One of the few last remaining old school hard rock bands out there. Judas Priest still rocks major ass to this day. So glad they haven't changed their sound. Very awesome.

Nicholas St. John Painkiller was a promotional studio single through and through but he had no problems singing All Guns Blazing or Nightcrawler live, even Metal Meltdown had a live version which blew the studio version out of the sky.
If this song isn't a 10/10, then nothing is. This is one of the most epic, complete and most badass songs in the history of music. You cant find a song that's more heavy metal than this. intro is probably one of the most epic intros in the history, the chorus is beyond epic and those screams! It's not real! Please God save me from this insanity! The intro and the part from 3.32 to 3.51, is that heaven? Is that the gift that Gods brings to mankind? And then I haven't even mentioned the scream at 4.30 and the part that starts at 5.08, places where the only things i feel is death and total depise, created by the imortal epicness of the ultimate heavy metal god named Judas Priest
@Mason Hodgkin the sentinel if you disagree with this that painkiller is more metal than this. Halford vocals and guitar solos in painkiller and the sentinel is beyond genius. Halford vocals and guitar solos in this one is just very good. Calm down man.

That would be awesome, only thing that might top it is a live version with Amon Amarth and Judas Priest doing the song together.. with clean and growls...hell they might even summon a dragon :D
Wonderful. Perfect song and Rob is screaming like the old times ALIVE and in The studio! Yesterday Priest did a gig in my town...and Rob kicked all possible asses singing "Victim Of Changes" alive. "Jawbreaker", " Halls Of Valhalla", "Painkiller"... he still can sing any song alive!!!!
This is yet another great song from my favorite Heavy Metal band, Judas Priest! It has all the elements of the best songs including but not limited to, albums spanning the years from Screaming for Vengeance to Painkiller, some of their best IMHO! Metal Rules!
There were a lot of doubters when the title cut off this record and 'March of the Damned' were released. I myself was one of them...but THIS...and the rest of the album too, incl. the bonus tracks, makes this Priest's strongest effort since 'Painkiller'. Fantastic album! Thank you Judas Priest, see you on tour.
Blind guardian - valhalla Grave digger - valhalla Yngwie malmsteen - valhalla Judas priest - valhalla I think theres a few more songs about valhalla but i dont know about
While newer metal bands like Avenged Sevenfold, Trivium and Babymetal (say what you will about my tastes) are awesome to hear, this is undeniable proof that you just can't beat the classics. Judas Priest are one of the all-time greatest in the metal world, and this is an amazing song. Legends. Absolute legends \m/

this, in my opinion, has to be the most brutal and uncompromising song they have made in years. The whole album is made with true passion and care.
Wouldn't say it's brutal, but the track definitely slays! Surely one of their better tracks in the whole decade.

HEAVY METAL. DESTROY ALL THE RULES...YEAHHHHHHHHHH
Remember rob is in his 60s those screams should make him the most perfect heavy metal screamer live today.amazing voice!
Is no one gonna talk about that guitar solo? Build up to it is insane as well
Playing Skyrim while listening to this anthem feels like I'm in fucking VALHALLA
that was so perfect :D
+CliffEmAll *Sovngarde ;)
My ancestors are smiling at me, imperial. Can you say the same?
A great song from he metal gods

Hi Hegel
One of the best metal songs ever writed, fuck yeah!!! Judas Priest stilll give us the best heavy metal since 50 years, amazing!
the best song on the album....
Just cant polemicize this opinion
Fantastic song! Hail to Priest!!
I like this theme about the north and all, proud to be Scandinavian ;)
This would be an epic song to have in the background for Thor vs Gorr the God butcher.
Without a doubt " Redeemer of souls " is one of Judas Priest Best albums.
Its good but there’s a bit too much filler on it, FirePower was much better.
This is yet another great song from my favorite Heavy Metal band, Judas Priest! It has all the elements of the best songs including but not limited to, albums spanning the years from Screaming for Vengeance to Painkiller, some of their best IMHO! Metal Rules!
Judas Priest is EPIC enough said
2019 any one? Still amazing
Hailed Wand Valhalla opens the it’s gates to you friend
Still waiting for Amon Amarth to cover this song in 2019
Music doesn't age asshole
Priest forever
I see your 2019 and raise you a 2021.:-)
Judas Priest, still on top of their game after all these years!
The best band ever. The one and only gods of metal. Greatness.
Man, what a song and what an album! This band´s creativity is endless.
People when Halford hits his higher register: Nothing Dogs & Wolves: WTF was that?
saw him live today!!!!! he sang this live, oh my lord!!!!!! I felt my soul leave my body😍😍😍
where?? Virginia??
There were a lot of doubters when the title cut off this record and 'March of the Damned' were released. I myself was one of them...but THIS...and the rest of the album too, incl. the bonus tracks, makes this Priest's strongest effort since 'Painkiller'. Fantastic album! Thank you Judas Priest, see you on tour.
"The halls of Valhalla,
are calling me home!
The halls of Valhalla,
THAT'S WHERE WE BELONG!"
Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and Judas Priest all have Valhalla songs
The mark of an amazing band

I saw Judas Priest in concert in 1982. I remember it like it was yesterday.
Halford....proof Metal Gods do not truly age...they level up till they ascend.
They all say you can't touch music but music can touch you.
Masters of MetaL.Rob haLford and company ...
It's 6 am I'm making breakfast and I'm jamming out to kick off my day with this happy music
Those guitar phrases and blowing my mind out of my skull. Also, Halford's abilities are massive. MASSIVE!
Underappreciated song. Absolutely glorious!
his scream is still boss
01:18 HOLY SHIT, what a lick
Tremendo sonido. Moderno, xtra pesado. JUDAS PRIEST la mejor banda de heavy metal. Powerfull !!!
DethMetLKhaos Hell Yeah!
Well A7X isn't really *new* but got your point.
Judas Priest still rocks it
I mean it’s an old comment, but a7x wasn’t new when it was written either lol
@@ThyArtIsMetal to be fair, he said "newer" not "new", so he isn't, technically wrong
To eternally ride in the halls of Valhalla, shiny and chrome.

I AM THE MAN WHO GRABS THE SUN RIDING TO VALHALLAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!! I LIVE I DIE I LIVE AGAIN!!!! BY MY DEEDS I HONOR HIM V8!!!!!! I WILL RIDE ETERNALLY SHINING AND CHROME!!!! WITNESS ME!!!!!!!
