The bolt is reversible, you can switch it to the other side where it is on your AK if you want. That's where I put mine. Hell of a weapon and for the price every household in America should have one for home defense. It's a terrifying sight watching someone unload 10 rounds of buckshot on a steel silhouette!
Have mine with the carlsons rifled choke tube and its set up to be a slug gun really tigtens up groups at 50 plus yards. Running Winchester super x 1oz slugs.
Don't shoot slugs out of it unless you don't like yourself. I have mine loaded with 3 inch 00 buckshot, which is still kinda punishing. I got a slip on gel butt pad and it is now fairly comfortable. Skip the cheek riser, just add an optic on a short riser, keeps you head up off the stock and actually shoulders better. If 10+1 3 inch 00 doesn't solve your problem, you are probably at war...
