I have the 7/8 version of this reel and I couldn’t be happier with it. I replaced my old Airflo reel which after years of use finally started to get a bit graunchy when you wound the reel. This new Greys Cassette reel is definitely worth the money plus you get to have a bit of kudos having a piece of Greys tackle in your kit.

just bought this reel the 7/8 model, it would be helpful to know how much backing line is needed to fill the reel with the flyline.
