I love how you get excited because I know that exact same feeling. It’s fun, interesting and makes you feel joyous and good. I ordered one last week and will receive it Tuesday. I’ve been looking for a foldable keyboard to take with me abroad. And your review mafe it look at least a bit more than halfway decent. BTW, your piano playing is amazing. And the fact that you love to play honky-tonk and ragtime tells me just what a happy and joyful person you are. Thanks!

It always fascinates me that people like Kris who can’t read music can play the piano like he does. WOW! How does that happen? That Ravencroft app is incredible!
@@mindmybusynassm1645 I agree although mine is still working because I don’t play it that much but I expect if I do it won’t last very long. The unknown name alone sounds not promising. I guess I was willing to spend the money just out of curiosity.
The Veetop is very good. No plastic ticking noise as you play. The 1 thing wasn't mentioned is a built-in battery. The Folding Piano 88 marketed under 2 brand names "Carry-On" & "Midi-Plus" has an 8h built-in battery. Without batteries, the Veetop still need to be plugged in to a USB or a wall outlet even when playing at the airport or you need to carry a portable power supply. Recently while traveling I came across a similar keyboard with the brand name BSK (Busking Keyboard). Comes in several models including KD09-Duo splicing keyboard (splits into 2) and the BP88 (in 1 piece). Tried them both and found the bigger BP88 to be much better. The keys on the splicing keyboard feel too bouncy and unnatural like the buttons on a TV remote. Forget about a rubber roll-up keyboard. It's an old technology from Yamano in Japan over 2 decades ago. A lot of copycat roll-up keyboards under different brand names and they're all similar. Since they first came out, not much improvement on them except more companies manufacturing similar pieces of trash.
Hi What type of cable do you use? I bought the KONIX PJ88C and I can't connect it to my ipad I have these errors accessory not available connected accessory draws too much power I already tried with the Lightning to USB Adapter to connect power at the same time

Hi Kris, A very good review of the 88 key Veetop, piano. Was good sound from the boxed item, better from the ‘Bose’ ? Speaker, excellent from your studio sett-up’, But I was very impressed after your iPad hook-up 👍 ( sick ) 😃 question pls. Is your iPad of 6th generation? Or a pro iPad ? Also pls can you give a description....of type size of usb. sockets & leads to & from your iPad ty. Hope you get to collaborate with this company’ Veetop, can’t wait to hear your tweaks :- if any. @@mindmybusynassm1645 I use the carry-on one and it works but man it is just a toy. Fully weighted, velocity sensitive keyboards are the way to go, even if they are not full 88 key-sized. It is sad that a beginner with low budget can't get his or her hands on a good keyboard. Most of the cheap stuff in the market are just toys.
If I bought this keyboard, how would I go about getting those sounds you are getting using those apps on your IPAD? just looking for idea how it's hooked together. Great review!
You have to go to the App Store and download either Ravenscroft or Korg or iK Multimedia there’s tons of synthesizer apps you just have to choose the ones that are right for you

Has anyone gotten it to connect to a Bluetooth speaker?
I used an external Bluetooth transmitter, but the latency was way too high to use it while playing.
most of built in sounds sound terrible, love your rags and boogie woogie tho
i guess you don't really like this family member of yours that you're giving this to...
Use a microphone, man. Can't hear a word you're saying
