The film version of "Plan On Forever" by Dana Glover and Mervyn Warren, which served as the love theme from the 2001 motion picture "The Wedding Planner" starring Jennifer Lopez and Matthew McConaughey.
The song's melody is based on the film's main theme/score by Mervyn Warren, with lyrics by David Zippel. Although the song does appear on the official soundtrack album release, there was a problem making a deal with Dana Glover's record label. So on the soundtrack they released the demo version, which featured another vocalist. But this is the version everyone knows and loves, as heard in the film.

Beautiful song this song came out when I was 18 years old oddly enough when The Wedding Planner came out I was working at a movie theater at the time it was my first job oh gosh I would spend my lunch times watching that movie and listening to the song I would love when the credits rolled I would sit there and sing along( when I was supposed to be cleaning the theater.) I got in trouble a lot by my supervisor lol 🤣 she would always catch me singing along with credits 🤣 oh but this is such a wonderful song . brings such good memories for me. Dont know if Ill ever got married but if I do hand down this is my wedding song 😁 Dana and Mervyn thank you so much for this great piece of artistry. Hand down best wedding song ever 😁
