Wow I never expected to see something like this pop up in my recommendations but im so glad it did, peters videos were what made me feel somewhat competent with bryan and made me want to fully commit to the character in the first place so its really nice to see someone taking his reins for tekken 8. Hoping to pick up some pointers along the way from yourself and im already loving how you articulate yourself while playing, very easy to learn alongside you
Thank you so much! Peter was a huge inspiration for me as well since I found his channel at a plateau in my learning where I couldn't figure out what I needed to be doing next. Hopefully you continue to find these videos useful! I always found that seeing concepts applied in actual games was the best way for me to understand them instead of in a vacuum in practice mode etc.
Yes this is what I needed to hear I've been waiting for. You're really giving a new gameplan. Learning the nooch has been fun. I've also been losing a load like soo much more but learning is the goal
There was a good saying I heard once that said "You don't learn anything from constantly winning" which I think is a great mindset you've adopted. Keep up the good work and best of luck!
Thank you! I've been lowering the game volume for future recordings so you should see that improvement soon in the next videos. Thanks for the feedback!
hey man love these for learning bryan at the moment. A small thing i noticed in this video, the game's music was mouch louder than you talking. Thanks for these uploads
Thank you for the feedback! I've been working on the balancing and think you should see an improvement in the next 2 videos or so. I've lowered the game volume since I realized most of the viewers don't need to hear it as much as I initially thought!
I definitely think these videos have helped me clear up my thinking and approach with tekken. As it's been said, the masters practice the fundamentals so when the time comes, they forget them. When you get it down you can start playing the man instead of the game and I've noticed I now have that capability, at least a bit. Also, d 3+4, 2 is good for picking up the enemy in weird combo states like at the wall, so yeah you should try and use it more.
Trust the process and you'll notice a time where a lot of these basics are starting to come naturally. Thanks again for the tip, I'm trying to use it more!
At this moment I am not going to do a comprehensive guide since excellent guides have already been released by Ty as well as PeterYMao back in Tekken 7 that I actually learned from as well. As such, I'm not sure I have anything additional to add to those guides yet since most of my knowledge comes from those creators as well. For now I'll stick to these topical videos that focus more on application and gameplay, since there is less of that out there, but once I feel like I have enough to say that's different from the existing guides, I will definitely consider creating one! Thanks again!
Yeah there's still quite a spread of players throughout the ranks it seems, so there's a additional layer of trying to figure out which kind each opponent is. That being said congrats on the brief Raijin! Thanks for watching :)
It feels like there is a ton of rank inflation. Purple ranks used to contain only skilled, thoughtful players. Now it seems full of clueless mashing green ranks.
@@KarlKognitiv Since T8 is still new, there's a lot of new characters and moves which leads to "scrubkiller" moves seeing more success until the player base figures it out again I think. It'll probably all even out eventually again!
I appreciate the feedback. I've been steadily lowering the game volume per other requests as well so you should start seeing a steady improvement on that soon. Sorry for not getting it right sooner!

Have you considered creating an all in one guide video with all your knowledge or are you waiting till you feel more confident?

It's like the wild west out there - had Raijin for like 5 minutes and demoted again. Rank still is a nice training ground.

@@vontiban Makes sense.
What controller do you play with?
Hi there! I use a stick (Razer Panthera) that I've modified a bit with a battop lever and most recently am using Gravity buttons which I really like.
@@vontiban thanks!
i’m sure this is a great video but the audio is awful
