Hey everyone! A bit of a different video but I really wanted to do a video other than lore, so curious to see what you all thought! Don’t you dare go hollow friends! The discord for the channel: discord.gg/xv8t5bFSzd
I went back to playing Bloodborne after Elden ring too. I had a high opinion of Bloodborne before, but damn, it sooooo good. I like ER well enough, but Bloodborne is far superior. I chalk it up to the tighter design, the themes, and the bosses are better.
Bloodborne has the best enemies I've ever seen in any game ever, especially the Huntsmen; they mutter to themselves, talk shit to you, and patrol around the streets. Bloodborne is beyond immersive and fully realized
I'm not the first to say it but I legitimately believe sony has just lost the gold masters of bloodborne or something along those lines, or would have to give fromsoft more money than they want. There's no conceivable reason why it would be in this state other then sony negligence or greed or bad blood between studios
@joesaiditstrue oh I'm sure they do, but it's gotta be some weird contract thing that's stopping anything being done with the IP. I still love the idea that it's like a toy story 2 scenario where they just straight up deleted the master copy and fromsoft had to give up theirs per contractual obligations. The real reason is probably much more boring and infuriating but who knows, considering how long it's been we'll probably never know
These kinds of videos are refreshing, specially when talking about the banger that is Bloodborne. While I do believe enemy and boss design got much better in the next 3 Fromsoft games, I think the atmosphere, speed of combat and lore hold up so well you may call it digitak wine. If you're interested in deep lore and gameplay depth, I very strongly recommend the Dishonored games. You can chew so much story in just one or two missions.
Apart from the frame rate the only thing that makes going back to Bloodborne hard is not being able to jump. I mean I definitely go back, but everything feels slower. Not to mention that you go back to your stamina being used even when not in combat.

I liked the Chalice Dungeons too. Especially when cranking up the difficulty with the different ritual items. I hope From Software does an iteration on the procedurally generated dungeon in a future game, improving upon it with everything they’ve learned since then.
Sony could really make an easy buck here. With elden rings success, fromsoft’s popularity has increased exponentially. All they need to do is release a BB remaster on pc and watch the money print.

Bloodborne is FromSoft's best piece of art imo.
The lore is so deep, people still keep on finding new things to this day.
Lol I love that the issues are:
1. The randomly generated optional content isn't as polished.
2. Sony won't let the rest of gaming enjoy it.
I find it so hard to play nowadays. I love it dearly though. Nice vid
I get you! Thank you!

CANNOT agree more, I love the enemies beyond belief
You’re not wanted here!!

Cannot agree more, it's gotten to a point where it feels the only feasible reason could be they have so much money they cannot be bothered
wouldn't have to give From Software a dime. Sony fully owns the IP

Chalice Dungeons are not your cup of tea huh. That’s like saying ‘I’m not a fan of the fourth wheel underneath my car. I’d prefer to do without it.’
I mean each to their own, but I don’t personally see any positives of note about it?

Chalice dungeons are unironically my favorite content in BB.

BOOM! Agreed 💯

Sony needs to get off their high horse and let everyone play this amazing game.
Word of advice: you should put the word 'intricate' in a bottle and toss it into the ocean never to be used by you again.
Do more like this please
Thanks, will do!

Everyone says they could make so much money by doing bloodborne, but it's a different kind of game. And PC players will just pirate it anyway.
@@JeremyRPG If that was true then no game would sell well on PC.
