Thanks for the antenna education. I had an emax nano antenna that was terrible. Now i know why. I generally use micro axxiis which have been great. I think ive had 4 so far with no issues.
Right on Man! Love the low velocity chillin sessions. These tiny antenna would be cool for reducting a few more grams off my Stingy V2. I'm thinking it may be advantageous for me to look at that SWR meter after my last two nights of "semi-medium range" flights through foliage gave a surprise. Using the same 2 VTX antennas on different Multi Rotors VASMM2...one on a AKK Ultimate and the other on a TBS Unify HV. I was gobsmacked at the results. The AKK VTX was at a lower mW and stomped the Unify on reception. I could switch the antennas but not living in a place that's feasible for testing live quickly kinda sucks and takes time to go to a spot for safety sake.
Seems to perform the same but I have received a couple that broke easier. Some batches have cold solder joints inside and the antenna isn't as well protected because of the smaller size and weight so if you crash a lot your chances for a failure might be higher.
Hello! What do you think is the best pair of antennas or antenna+patch to fly not too far, but to be able to have a decent or even a good flight when you're behind objects, fly inside some structures(empty buildings) etc.? Just a normal 50-600m range. Wanted to take something from foxeer, but am a newbie and there are lots of them: most popular lollipop 3-4 mushrooms, micro lollipop, pagoda pro.
Antenna performance is only as good as the VTX and receiver. Assuming your other gear is also good (I have no idea), these antennas will perform well. Occasionally you'll get a bad build and have to return/exchange these. If this is not good for you, TrueRC antennas at 2X the cost is the way to go.
@@AlbertKimTV Yeah, i guess. Just got a cinelog35 and cobra x v2, my brother took a ev800dm. Thought that lollipop ones would fit any, but unfortunately...
Is this better than the iflight albatross antenna? Was thinking of getting the micro lollipop 2 as it comes 2 in a pack and I can use one on drone one on goggles. But the reviews of the albatross make it a temping alternative choice.
Albert, does the frequency 5640 - 5940 with results between 1 and 2 mean that we can expect that result on any band with those channels between those ranges?
The SWR meter shows the graph of the SWR from a low to high frequency range across the 5.8hgz band. A lower SWR is considered better than a higher one. This meter lets you compare antennas to each other objectively. Your comment saying these antennas are "just ok" is totally subjective and I'm not sure what this comment is meant to say exactly.

Best value micro ufl antenna in my opinion now. Works great! Two for 20 bucks is a deal.
Bro, your music in this video is sooooo perfect.
Also, thanks for the info. I learned quite a bit. I was lost on what to put on my vtx
Ive used theze for a lil while now! They work great!

That mall is badass!

P.S. Love the tunes (^^)b
What do you think about the regular size lollipop vs this micro one? I accidentally bought the micro one and i don't want to feel guilty buying it 😂

Try ORT micro antenna. Its handmade antenna guys.. you would be surprised👍👍
Interesting. Great review Albert Kim. left a like
Thank you! Cheers!
Would this work good for stripping it and shouldering it to my moblite7?
The inside is a PCB antenna so not sure how well it will hold up without the structural supports.

Same question, did you figured out?
@@zmogienaneskani Antennas are all the same dont think about it too much. Choose ones that look cool
Very informative...I loved it when you flew thrU the fountain 👍
Thank you so much 👍

Only for the antenna shown. Yours may perform differently. That's why I tested both of my antennas.
@@AlbertKimTV i measured 4 antenas and performance is identical like twins..
Good size for my beta95xgoprolite? Stack antenna betafpv its too short....
Yeah, I use it on my Beta85x GoProLite
Some proper testing, thank you.
Thank you!
Albert Kim would be interesting to see an autopsy on those antennas that failed to see what went wrong in the manufacturing process
Good for goggles? The Mini foxeer?
I use the 150mm right angle version on my Skyzone goggles and they are great.
What SWR meter are you using?

I think u guys need to squat that plaza and make it a FPV autonomous zone and ban the FAA from passing quadcopter regulations. LOL!
No nosense informative review as ever. G.j
Nice flights, who was the other pilot?
ummagawd
Your SWR meter shows nothing.. these antenas its just ok... Best swr is between 5600 - 5620 and 5900 - till 6100.

@@AlbertKimTV i have same SWR meter @home and real antennas analyzer (cost more than 10K) i messured impedance, returnloss, smithchart, SWR.
