Bought these and the O4 lite and upgraded an analog micro quad and absolutely loving it! HDZERO and Walksnail are gonna get killed in the small drone market by O4 lite.

I want to upgrade my rc plane setup from analog to digital and I'm looking at the exact same setup you have. would you say that combo is worth the money? How is the transmitting distance? does the transmitter overheat?
@@MatthewSpory Definitely worth the money. Range is as far as your battery can go. I have had no issues with range. If you are flying, the transmitter does not overheat.

The nicest box goggles I have seen. Great DJI system goggles for entry level pilots getting into this hobby. With the O4 compatibility, awesome. Winner winner 🏆 Great review Albert.
Was considering upgrading my analog goggles for $600 but this seems like a much better way to go.
DJI 04 is really good.
Apparently DJI 04 pro + Goggles 3 will have a latency of 15ms!!!! 😮

Yeah will be a killer once 04 arrives. Super cheap and after 6 years of no flying. Im getting back in to it :)
@@dezcallander To be honest we have caddx to thank for stealing their technology and giving them some competition. I wanna see a comparison between the EMAX Transporter HD the Avatar Goggles L (or fatshark recon hd) and the Goggles N3. They also sit in the same price bracket at $240, $200($169), and ($230)and I think the only disadvantage to the N3 is the Video transmitter cost compared to the competition. We know its good because people are already scalping all of them on ebay for an extra $40.💀 Hopefully dji can make enough to keep up

You might consider the GepRC Vapor-D with the O4 air unit build in. Its damm cheap and good!

Really good value. Great for those on a budget or beginners wanting to fly HD. Or get more out of their Neo or Avata 2.

From what I have read as of now 03 systems are not compatible. Things could change but don’t hold your breath. Happy flying!!!
I suspect they will add O3 support in the future but only after a few months pass for the O4 launch. I might be wrong, they might include it right away, it's hard to say.

Seems like DJI is making FPV more affordable than analog. How can this be?
The fatshark ReconHD goggles are $200 as well. Thats cheaper than like 80% of analog goggles.
Because it's made in China with slave labor?
Goggles are essentially a one off purchase though... so this really doesn't stack up once you have several craft with camera and vtx on them...
@@pfeerick all that saved money on analog drones isnt really worth it now it seems. Either gunna have to deal with shit analog or spend the money converting in the end.
analog is gonna be more expensive than DJI by the end of next year.
I guess it's time for me to retire my analog gear! So many people are getting triggered by the reality that their system they invested a lot of money in is now obsolete.

Thank you for the review. So, my understanding is their technology is proprietary, it can't be used with anything else other than DJI product. So this isn't of interest to us micro quad Pilots, unless DJI gets into 65 to 75mm quads, correct?
The new O4 air unit will be 10g with camera which is lighter than most micro analog setups. Analog will die by the end of 2025.
I'm gonna upgrade everything but my tinywhoops to O4 assuming the rumors are correct. I fly a lot of micros and the new O4 seems perfect for those.
Were you able see a massive difference between the refresh rate of these goggles vs the integra? I think thats the only issue I see but otherwise they looked great
I normally fly in 60fps mode even on the Integras so I have no issue with the refresh rate.

DJI is coming after HDZERO and Walksnail with cheap options and the new O4 air units rumored to be out soon. Sad to see all the other system just die off in 2025.
I don't think they will just "die off" but it will be harder for people to justify where they are spending their money.

@@ktrimberger Rumors have it that the O4 will have latency about the same as HDZERO with better image quality so there's no reason for anyone to go with HDZERO once the new DJI systems are out.
