The riptides on the Pacific side are deadly. That's why you can't swim over there. The bright side is even the "private" beaches on the Gulf side are accessible to everyone. So pass on Modano (too many vendors). Start with Chilino Bay & go further out if necessary
Hey, awesome video. I'll be there this April. I see you were in Casita #40. I am a Hilton Diamond member. In your opinion, is there a Casita with a closer/better view of the ocean? Also, in your video, you were behind a 'beachfront' one bedroom. Do you think the beachfront option has a chance of a better view? Thanks.
Yup, you are absolutely correct. The ocean front suite #30, 31, 32 will have a better view. I think as far as casitas, the one next to ours should have better views because it’s not blocked by those ocean front suites. I believe the room number is #42. Have fun and enjoy your travels! Thanks for watching!
First of all, nice choice, I think you will have a great time there. I think renting is car is unnecessary if you only want to stay near by in cabo. We walked to the pier/downtown area and it was not difficult. We also booked a tour and they sent a shuttle to pick us up and drop us off. I think unless you want to travel outside of the area, you probably don't need a car. I think they upgraded me because of the loyalty status because it was done from the system. I didn't have to ask them at check in. I heard that they are quite generous with upgrades though, so if you have any status with Hilton, make sure book the room with it. Of course, it doesn't hurt to ask during check in as well. I have gotten many upgrades just because I asked. Have fun and thanks for supporting the channel!
You can look for Hilton standard redemption availability. That's how we book our stay here this year. When you do see availability, you can use either use Hilton points or Hilton free night certificate to book. Let me know if you have more questions, I'm happy to answer them.
Nice upgrade 👍
Yea, we got lucky!

Going in March, would you recommend to rent a car or shuttle bus to the hotel? And they upgraded you because of your status? Or I can just ask? TIA

Would love to stay here but it’s over $1k a night 😩
