Well, I was mesmerized while I was watching and almost speechless when you finished. Outstanding work! Gorgeous! I also liked that you increased the speed of your vid. Was easier to watch. TFS!
I’m with everyone else loving these flat shaker cards. They are ingenious to mail and get the shaker effect. Wish I had thought of doing that but I can count you for clever ideas!!!
Thank you so much for the detailed instruction on how you created the shakers. Although I done them in the past I've never gotten the alignment right and just gave up. Thank you!
Beautiful!! I especially love the pink/white heart one. I might even have a go at it myself! Your advice is so detailed and videos are very reassuring. Thank you so much.
Fantastic - just lovely cards. I have made "flat shaker" cards before with a clear envelope - just pop the contents in the envelope seal it up and then tape it in between two layers! It works pretty darn good and it's a little bit easier for me especially when I'm being clumsy:-)
I love shaker cards but don’t like the extra bulk so I don’t normally make them. Your video caught my attention because of the Flat part! Thank you for sharing how to do a flat shaker card! I can’t wait to try this! Oh and your cards turned out beautifully!
Such fun cards! :) Love the flat shaker idea! Have seen it done before but with a fuse tool so this is great! Especially for me that don't have the fuse tool.. :) Hugs!
LOVE these cards! And I especially love the idea of flat shakers and I think they would be easier (well, for me at least). I get into all sorts of bother with Shaker cards with adding lots of foam tape & then I don't like how the card looks from the side with all the adhesive showing - plus I have trouble lining things up. Thank you so much for sharing your cards with us :-)
The idea of a flat shaker card seems so much less intimidating than one with foam. Plus, it will mail easier, too. (Wish I had thought of this when I first started shakers🙄). Your cards are so very pretty; I especially like the “with love” one. It has very soft colors.
Oh Amy! Every time I start your videos I think, I don’t need those stamps and dies but once the video ends I am off and ordering. I am going broke. Lol
I would have put the heart shape flower cluster on the cut out heart window the glued back facing up and then I've just closed the card base on it...it maybe easier then trying to gues the exact position.
Hello and thank you for the video! What is the name of the machine you used in the beginning of the video to stamp the hearts with the ink onto the card stock? Thank you!
listed in the supplies under the video: Tim Holtz Tonic Craft TRAVEL STAMP PLATFORM - it's no longer available in North America. I use a MISTI now which is listed and linked in most of my videos :)
Amy, your flat shaker cards are spectacular! Hindsight is 20/20 but I think (like you said) since you had all the pretty sequins in the view, it would not show your glue thru. I also like your tip about the Copies and the porous block to blend colors one is having trouble with. Another great use of the blocks. Thanks for the PPP cards and dies. All so pretty!!!
I love your expertise on all your works of art however....and this is meant to be positive....i would of had to cover the heart again on the backside to hide the bleeding of the markers.. It just bothered me that it looked unfinished....love your coloring skills! Take care

non-porous block (or glass plate or anything really so long as it's not going to absorb the ink - acrylic blocks are just convenient) :)
your hearts gave me a new idea.. thanks, NoNo Nannette
what glue, container, and tip are you using?
everything I used is listed and linked in the description box under the video :)
😍
