I wholeheartedly agree! I cannot wait for this movie and I’m going to see it opening night! I was initially on the fence with Quaritch coming back as a villain for ALL 4 SEQUELS, but if this is the way they’re going to develop his character (becoming a Na’vi Hitler), then I’m all for this now. I’m looking the most forward to Kiri’s story and the forbidden romance story most of all. So hyped!! Let’s make this opening weekend a massive one!!
News just came out that it’s going to be opening here in South Korea on the 14th(local time). First in the world! I really hope I’ll be lucky enough to get tickets on opening day.
The aerial shots and cinematography are absolutely next level. Did you freaking see the detail on skin and muscle textures of the 3D characters?!?!?! Good Lawd!

Producer Jon Landau confirmed today that “Avatar: The Way of Water” is officially in the can. James Cameron and his team completed the final mix and picture mastering last night.
This led to director Guillermo del Toro, who has apparently seen the film, calling Cameron’s sequel “a staggering achievement- AVATAR TWOW is chokefull of majestic Vistas and emotions at an epic, epic scale. A master at the peak of his powers…”
Ok, fine. But does it actually have a good story this time. The first “Avatar” was visually stunning, but its story was basically “Dances With Wolves” meets “Pocahontas.” I’m still very much looking forward to Cameron’s 192-minute sequel, and my sense of anticipation has been growing daily as the December 6th screening approaches.

Easily a 2B plus movie.
10 years ago I said it would hit 3 billion. I stuck with that prediction until Covid ruined everything. Now who knows? It needs China for 3 billion, but they're still doing their insane lockdowns. I agree 2 billion shouldn't be too hard to hit though
