I was in a real slump in my guitar playing, but your channel has got me learning new songs again, thank you! If in the future you would consider adding rhythmic notation to your tabs, that would make the whole experience even more amazing :)

Hey thanks a lot Jim! To get the tab on your videos you just need to take screenshots of the tab grids. On a mac you have to press cmd+shift+4. Good luck :)

Great playing but this is not Travis picking. It’s more Chet Atkins style picking. Merle Travis picking is different than this and all the folk style playing that people mistakenly call Travis picking.
Thanks! I assure you this guitar style is called Travis picking my friend. Although this tune was originally arranged by Chet, Travis picking refers to the alternating thumb style of fingerpicking guitar regardless of the composer or arranger, as Travis was one of the first pioneers of this style. Bending with your pinky in that particular position is actually easy,the other fingers work as a support in order to pull of that bend
You have to use the pinky bend for the song or it won’t sound right not just sound right but you can’t stretch that chord with the bend
