- TIP - You can also send a Dimorphodon to attack the hive. They dont trigger the bees its very easy to kill the hive that way.

The best way I found to tame one is build up to the hive and completely encase it with a one by one with a window in the front, they can't get out and you can destroy the nest, no ghillie or repellent required

I found using a quetzal to attack the hives is easy as well. With the AOE the quetz has it takes out the worker drones while you attack, just make sure to stop attacking after the hive breaks.

I usually scan the area with an argy, kill every predator there is and knock the bee hive by circling around the tree kicking the hive once at a time. Eventually the hive breaks and the queen bee is out. At this point I use one bug repellent on myself and one on the argy. The rest of it is shown in this video, e.g. run behind the bee and spam the E button.
I’m on ps5. What’s the E button do?are you feeding it the wild flower?
Tell me how me Tribe is like we need hives for honey for cooking purposes and I begin setting up for this sometime today and here comes Nooblets to the rescue with exactly what I need today.
Dont forget to wear ghillie and use bug spray when harvesting your honey, it would chip your hp down slowly if you dont

Tip: Chalicotheriums deal extra damage to hives with their rock-throw ability, so you can easily deal with them and the bees from a distance, no building and hit and run tactics required.
Just push E on an item in your inventory to place. You can skip the hotbar.

I don't know how you can keep track of the queen in the red woods. I have tried on three queens and it's so dark I either loose them. Or get attacked cause they move so far away.
The behives dont despawn anymore when theyre in a building???
So can you pick the hives back up now? Was wondering since you can pick up structures now at any time. Does this extend to the hives now as well?
Sorta, when you distroy the hive, it turns into a queen bee. You can then pick the queen bee back up and it will turn back into a hive you can place again.
Does your tamed bee attack you when u enter its hive??

In the before times, the long long ago, I used blood wyverns on follow to bite the hive twice then stand on its neck and tame the bees super easy, so so long ago
I had unsubbed because it appeared you went to the negative dark side. This video brought me back. This is a better version of "Steve here" Subbed 👍

What about my old method i would use where you simply build a box with a roof around it trapping the bee inside once you destroy the hive ?
Best way I've found as well, not sure if it works on Ascended, but I don't see why not.

I tried to feed flowers to a queen bee and couldn't, thought it wasn't a passive tame since no option would come up no matter that I was walking beside it like a minute trying to do so, and I tranqed it with ascendent crossbow twice and it died. :(
C4 doesn't damage them for me. But the shotty does. It's sloppy. Have Argent killing drones
So even if you can run up to a queen bee, if it has spawned drones, you will not be able to tame? But it looks like the drone still spawned @ 3:59
I've tamed a queen with many drones. They become yours, but live for minutes only.
she has no aggro only a detection method . she sense anything wild, tame or you she pops drones. this doesnt affect the tame. . just people that use to play ase are coping asa as exactly like ase in their mind . however its not an issue. a few other passive tames are drastically diff on punishments too aswell

Is it better to use rare flowers or kibble? Ark wiki seems to suggest simple kibble for bees?
pretty sure both are instant tames. id still rather use rare flowers over kibble tho

Has this been patched out? I've tried 3 different hives and the C4 won't blow them up...
I’ve tried all different numbers of chargers and it goes from unaffected to wiping it and everything off the map while killing the queen 😂

A Queen is always flying around outside a hive at 69.1 75.9. I've tamed her multiple times.

@wiliam291 Look around the upper ring to the green ob or down by the water. 75% of the time you will find one flying around.
Just tamed another one last night down by the water below the green ob.
Why did the beehive disappear
something has changed in the 2024 update. broke like ten hives and smacked like 30 in redwoods island. not 1 anykinda bee.
I get damage every time I go into the beehive inventory. Is that normal?
Yes, unless you wear guille, or use bug repellent.
I honestly don't have a problem and take little damage no matter what armor I'm wearing. They're mostly just annoying because they slow you down.
Ive broken probably 20 hives in the redwoods and none of them spawned any bees. Attacked the hives with my Argy. So whats happening? Why no bees?

every hive in asa will have a queen. however what happens is sometimes the queen falls thru the inside of the tree and the map. spino knock back swings or rpg knock back hard enough to kick her away from the tree. c4 and other methods she kinda lops down and can get in the tree. also c4 must be on the hive. alot of people just toss it and dont realize its falling under the hive then claim c4 doesnt work
@@empressjessica5020 I've destroyed dead or empty hives before. There was nothing in it I guarantee.

Yeah I'm struggling to find info for things because everything is still using the data from the old ark even though there's been obvious changes to some things in Ark Ascended. The people who say that are just the lazy ones who don't like putting in the effort to look up new info or just don't want to help you. I would consider playing on another server if the majority said it's the same as the old one because you can't fight lazy and stupid

😂 дети. Надо строить рампу к улью. Там есть три дерева минимум на которых постоянно висит три улья. Затем тамим любого уровня медведя пкм раз в 15минут можно добывать 15 мёда 3х15 45 или 225 в час . Атакуем только пкм . Есть лкм то матка падает с разрушением улья. Если она спамит пчёл то не будет активно приручение. Если пчёл не спамит то вам нужно присесть чтобы появилось возможность дать ей киблы

Spawns stuck on the ground...yea, more proof this is a lazy desperate cash grab by people who couldn't be bothered to fix the first game & made up the excuse about "needing" a new engine & "it's too hard to fix".
Wildcard didn't make any excuses. They literally said it themselves that ASA is only a thing because Ark 2 might fail. Either way all I can say is bugs will be fixed soon and ASA is just out so expecting it to be entirely free of bugs isn't that ideal.

I don't know if Ark 2 will fail or not but ASA defiently won't because ASA is 100% amazing. The only thing worrying me isn't wildcard. Its Snail games creating a monopoly. And it's not Wildcards fault the owner of Snail Games would turn out to be a greedy loser who looks like he was a fish that came out of the water and is now permanently confused. Either way, I can't blame Wildcard nor ASE or ASA. The blame defiently goes to Snail Games. Though I do agree with you that ASA is defiently a money grab (its worth buying but kinda crappy to make it cost). They even shut down Official servers in a way to force players to play ASA.
