- Green Day playing East Jesus Nowhere on 18th December 2009, in Auckland. Billie Joe picked 8 year old Joseph out of the crowd and "saved" him.
I was standing at the barrier in the corner between the runway and right side of stage for the whole show, so lucky.
The video does go out of focus now and then but bear with it, it does return :]

Billie Joe has two sons; the oldest is around 17, and the youngest is about 14/15. They both have black hair. This concert is in NEW ZEALAND. If this was really his son, then why did he ask for his name? Also, his youngest son would be 11 here. This kid looks about 9!

personally I'm glad he's agnostic becuz it's almost the same as being atheist and I love when one of my idols is atheist or agnostic since I'm atheist and it just makes me feel more accepted
I'm a Christian, but I personally reached the point where I love Jesus, but feel turned off from religious people because I like deep discussions, and most of my friend that I know want fluff and dumbed down topics because "it's TOO hard for me to understand!" I mean, I don't get the best grades on tests and quizzes, but I am a natural thinker who loves spoken work, satire, and sarcasm because it takes a brain to understand the message or point...and it usually has a hidden truth if you're smart enough to decipher it.
I personally blame my weak background of Biblical theology on a church I grew up in that had some jaded heretics in my middle-teen years...I wasn't encouraged to think deeply because most messages were motivational speeches and feel good moments.
