Definitely off topic but if you get the chance I would recommend watching English interviews that they have done when they came to the states. They are so unhinged at times and it’s HILARIOUS. Sometimes I.M. Has no filter lol. And since watching them so much I can see their journey of them learning how to speak better in English for their fans. it’s just so heartwarming to see them evolve as people and as a group

Hi, thanks for touching on Monsta X. They are the group that got me into K-Pop. They are known for being nice and are very devoted to their fans. I was able to see them in 2022 finally-damn Covid! I have since branched out and gotten into other bands but they will always be my number one. Kihyun is my boy! Don’t forget to check out Wonho who left the band when there were some accusations against him that were proven false. He left because he didn’t want to have the bad publicity hurt the other band members. Enjoy!
and to say that we are only on the mv ^^ I too started like that and one day I listened to the b side ^^ ...and I fell in love with their eclectic and very particular music. My favorite mmm?secrets from the dreaming, nobody else live performance ( golden disc awards) monsta x flow ( comeback stage) and of course, Monsta truck mv ^^ I would say that you have to watch the live shows because they are really worth it or the broadcast concerts, there is crazy energy. I would also advise diving into the b sides which are more representative of their music than the mvs in fact ^^ you never know what to expect from each song and that's what's interesting about them

And now when I hear a song from them again, I love it just as much as I did at the beginning. "Shoot out" was one of the songs, my son and me listened on repeat, alternately with "Hero" 🥰 I'm already looking forward to your next reactions! ☺
Well, its not without reason, that 'Shoot out' is one of their most covered choreos, by other idols 😉 In general, MONSTA X choreos has been covered a LOT, especially among 4th gen idols. There's quite a few MONBEBEs in 4th gen. Just to mention one, theres ATEEZ's JongHo, who has expressed his admiration and love for their music several times 😉 Also, I recently realised that 'Jalousy' is actually basically them competing with each other, for someone's attention. Its a bias war 😅. You kinda catch this through I.M's line "I got it, I'm the last out of seven." (They are seven members at this point and I.M is the youngest - the last) and and WonHo's "Why are you talking about Shownu again?" 😉😅 As for the obvious placed lore things placed in 'Dramarama', 'Shoot out' and 'Alligator, all I've gotten from the MONSTA X lore, the things I see again throughout their MV's is something related to the seven deadly sins and clocks/time warping. Also, looking forward to you getting into their b-sides. People have the best reactions for their b-sides, because well, this is where MONSTA X stands out from the rest of the industry - their b-sides and their English albums 😉🤭 One of their most epic b-sides, which have somewhat an MV, is 'Monsta truck', so look forward to that one 😉 I can also very much recommend watching compilations of the members. I do this with new groups, to get a better understanding of each member, their personalities and dynamics. And let me just say, MONSTA X has some very strong personalities 😂😅 like; "Kihyun being an angry hamster for 4 minutes straight", "Monsta x vs monbebe", "Monsta X - shit I.M says", "Monsta x Minhyuk being the sass king he is", "HyungWon being relatable", "JooHoney being a mood for 9 minutes" ect... the youtuber OKAYYYbebe has made a lot of really good and fun compliations that'll help you get to know the members and their relationship dynamics better
In concert….they are fantastic! Its really hard to pick a bias in this group..but a solo cover of song, Believer, by Kiyhun is what made me look Monsta X up…thus he’s my bias. Kiyhun reminds me a little of Baekhyun (although its hard to get funnier than Baekhyun). I hope more new comers will discover Monsta X while the majority of them are in the military..keep their presence current! Let me suggest song called “Wanted”…its a great song and they look spectacular!❤. Also try their all English songs. I have their English album, The Dreaming”..and it’s superb !

Jooheon is my bias with Kiki as my wrecker 😂 For recommendations, Stuck is my favorite title (along with Jealousy. That song just HITS different!). I'd also recommend Newton (softer, happy song), Find You (ties in with Dramarama for some clear storyline but be prepared to BAWL. It's one of THOSE.) I wanted to talk about the concept of the video (I watched an analysis about the concept of the video from one blogger). So, this is a trilogy of clips ''Shoot Out'', ''Alligator'', ''Follow''. The members of the group are the 7 deadly sins (also the 7 demons of Hell). In ''Shoot Out'' they are serving their sentences for their sins in the purgatory. Everyone is in their own cell. Wonho - demon Belphegor / sin of laziness. He is in a narrow cage, where the fog plunges him into the uncertainty of reality and fiction. Minhyuk is the demon Asmodeus / the sin of lust. He needs contact with someone, which is why he is in a cage with rose thorns, where he cannot touch anyone or anything. Kihyun is the Mammon demon / the sin of greed. He needs material wealth, therefore he is in a cage with manikins that are empty, there is nothing to steal from them. Juhyun is the demon Beelzebub / the sin of hunger (gluttony). He is insatiable, because he is too aggressive. He is in a cage and is wearing a mask (muzzle). Shownu is the demon Satan/sin of wrath. His punishment is anger itself. He, as a true evil, cannot experience anything but anger. He always has a crab of matches with him (fire, this is his catalyst). I.M - demon Leviathan / sin of envy. Leviathan is a huge snake (he has a tarot card with a snake on it). He is the right hand of Lucifer. His punishment is not to experience emotions in principle, and wish to have it.. Hyungwon - demon Lucifer / sin of pride. He is the ruler of Hell, who wanted to take the place of God, but now he is at the very bottom, where there is no one next to him. For his pride, he is forced to stay in an empty throne room. Anger, Laziness and Hunger are interconnected in the same way as Lust and Greed, and Envy and Pride. Having escaped from the cells, they refuse between the world of the living and the dead, the keeper of which is Leviathan / envy (he is the owner of the Tarot cards), which collects them together. Each of them destroys their own tarot card, representing their identity, each of them realizes and accepts his sin in order to complete the punishment. 7 deadly sins come out of purgatory, hiding behind the mask of a good deed. ''Alligator'' is a continuation of the trilogy of clips ''Shoot Out'', ''Alligator'', ''Follow''. The clip begins and we see that the world is immersed in chaos (the street is a mess, sirens are yelling, helicopters are flying). On the wall is a page that says ''The 7 deadly sins are the cause of the apocalypse'', also a brief description of each sin and at the end ''these sins are forbidden by law''. After leaving purgatory, the guys ended up in a kind of Paradise, where everyone in their room got what they wanted. They show the camera, hinting that they are being watched from above. Wonho - demon Belphegor / sin of laziness. It is in a room with a large bed. He has an apple (the forbidden fruit of Paradise) in his hand, showing that he still wants to go outside. Having bitten an apple, his room becomes different, burgundy and destroyed, and he is wearing a black robe. Shownu is the demon Satan/sin of wrath. He is in an empty room with only sculpture heads and empty picture frames. This place should be one where he can no longer feel anger. Once free, he still has a crab of matches with him, with which he wreaks havoc. Hyungwon - demon Lucifer / sin of pride. He is in the clock room where he sits on a throne (same as in ''Shoot Out''). The clock tells him that he is in no hurry. But he is unhappy, because he, as the ruler of Hell, wants to regain control of the demons. Minhyuk is the demon Asmodeus / the sin of lust. He is in a room with flowers (the embodiment of love and romance). He must realize that it is necessary not only to receive, but also to give love. But for him, love is equal to pain, and he wants to experience these feelings. He injures the rose, thereby refusing to be corrected. Kihyun is the Mammon demon / the sin of greed. He is in a room filled with formulas. Someone satisfies greed with love, someone with food. Here he can satisfy his greed with knowledge. But he is tormented by the thirst for material things. Juhyun is the demon Beelzebub / the sin of hunger (gluttony). He is in a beautiful but emotionally aggressive room. In this room he gets whatever he wants, and as long as he sits there, his greed can no longer develop. But greed can never be satisfied. He constantly wants more and more. I.M - demon Leviathan / sin of envy. He is in a terrarium-like room (the Leviathan is a huge snake). The window to the world shows him only himself, cutting him off from others and preventing his envy. But he is the right hand of Lucifer, the one who should bring everyone together. Each of them was given a place to live fully freed from their sins. But desire gets them and they escape from their cells. Satan/wrath and Beelzebub/hunger run amok in the city. Lucifer/pride, with the help of green smoke, calls to himself his right hand Leviathan/envy. Sins gather together, all around is scarlet. Apocalypse is near. ''Follow'' is the last of the trilogy of clips ''Shoot Out'', ''Alligator'', ''Follow''. There was nothing about this video, so this is my theory of what is happening 😅 First, we are shown a clock that moves faster than usual, everything is orange-yellow around, Satan / anger rises up the stairs and an eclipse occurs, a sign of change. Everyone is in their own location. I am not strong in this, therefore I cannot say the meaning of the locations, but in general they show us. Wonho - the demon Belphegor / the sin of laziness lies lazily on the vast expanse and drops of water rise up around him (a hint of uncontrolled time). Minhyuk - the demon Asmodeus / the sin of lust, as if in love, walks around his location. Juhyun is the demon Beelzebub / the sin of hunger (gluttony). At first we are shown him with his mouth covered with a sweater, but he opens it, begins to behave aggressively and at the end blows up the planet. Shownu is the demon Satan/sin of wrath. He constantly looks at the light and with each step, climbing the stairs, he approaches the light. Kihyun is the Mammon demon / the sin of greed. His location is empty, there is a clock on the floor, and he is like the hand of this clock (probably he controls the time). I.M - demon Leviathan / sin of envy. Leviathan is a huge snake, snakes crawl around him. He eats some blue fruit (I don't know its meaning), his eye becomes like a snake's and another planet explodes. Hyungwon - demon Lucifer / sin of pride. He, as the ruler of Hell, is shown in front of the eclipsed sun and moon. In the second part of the clip, after they show him, eclipse ends and the sun explodes. While everyone else is in their locations, Satan/anger continues up the stairs. The rest in their locations watch how the eclipse ends and after the explosion of the sun we are shown how Satan/anger stands at the top of the steps, and the rest, at the head of Lucifer/pride rise to him. Phew... I hope I understood everything correctly and I hope you enjoyed reading about it 😁

Not gonna dive into the lore too deep but basically, along with the time traveler storyline, they're the Seven Deadly Sins. They don't use that concept as much since Wonho went solo sadly (it was one of my favorite concepts 😭)
Definitely off topic but if you get the chance I would recommend watching English interviews that they have done when they came to the states. They are so unhinged at times and it’s HILARIOUS. Sometimes I.M. Has no filter lol. And since watching them so much I can see their journey of them learning how to speak better in English for their fans. it’s just so heartwarming to see them evolve as people and as a group

Hi, thanks for touching on Monsta X. They are the group that got me into K-Pop. They are known for being nice and are very devoted to their fans. I was able to see them in 2022 finally-damn Covid! I have since branched out and gotten into other bands but they will always be my number one. Kihyun is my boy! Don’t forget to check out Wonho who left the band when there were some accusations against him that were proven false. He left because he didn’t want to have the bad publicity hurt the other band members. Enjoy!
and to say that we are only on the mv ^^ I too started like that and one day I listened to the b side ^^ ...and I fell in love with their eclectic and very particular music. My favorite mmm?secrets from the dreaming, nobody else live performance ( golden disc awards) monsta x flow ( comeback stage) and of course, Monsta truck mv ^^ I would say that you have to watch the live shows because they are really worth it or the broadcast concerts, there is crazy energy. I would also advise diving into the b sides which are more representative of their music than the mvs in fact ^^ you never know what to expect from each song and that's what's interesting about them

And now when I hear a song from them again, I love it just as much as I did at the beginning. "Shoot out" was one of the songs, my son and me listened on repeat, alternately with "Hero" 🥰 I'm already looking forward to your next reactions! ☺
Well, its not without reason, that 'Shoot out' is one of their most covered choreos, by other idols 😉 In general, MONSTA X choreos has been covered a LOT, especially among 4th gen idols. There's quite a few MONBEBEs in 4th gen. Just to mention one, theres ATEEZ's JongHo, who has expressed his admiration and love for their music several times 😉
Also, I recently realised that 'Jalousy' is actually basically them competing with each other, for someone's attention. Its a bias war 😅. You kinda catch this through I.M's line "I got it, I'm the last out of seven." (They are seven members at this point and I.M is the youngest - the last) and and WonHo's "Why are you talking about Shownu again?" 😉😅
As for the obvious placed lore things placed in 'Dramarama', 'Shoot out' and 'Alligator, all I've gotten from the MONSTA X lore, the things I see again throughout their MV's is something related to the seven deadly sins and clocks/time warping.
Also, looking forward to you getting into their b-sides. People have the best reactions for their b-sides, because well, this is where MONSTA X stands out from the rest of the industry - their b-sides and their English albums 😉🤭 One of their most epic b-sides, which have somewhat an MV, is 'Monsta truck', so look forward to that one 😉
I can also very much recommend watching compilations of the members. I do this with new groups, to get a better understanding of each member, their personalities and dynamics. And let me just say, MONSTA X has some very strong personalities 😂😅 like;
"Kihyun being an angry hamster for 4 minutes straight", "Monsta x vs monbebe", "Monsta X - shit I.M says", "Monsta x Minhyuk being the sass king he is", "HyungWon being relatable", "JooHoney being a mood for 9 minutes" ect... the youtuber OKAYYYbebe has made a lot of really good and fun compliations that'll help you get to know the members and their relationship dynamics better
In concert….they are fantastic! Its really hard to pick a bias in this group..but a solo cover of song, Believer, by Kiyhun is what made me look Monsta X up…thus he’s my bias. Kiyhun reminds me a little of Baekhyun (although its hard to get funnier than Baekhyun). I hope more new comers will discover Monsta X while the majority of them are in the military..keep their presence current! Let me suggest song called “Wanted”…its a great song and they look spectacular!❤. Also try their all English songs. I have their English album, The Dreaming”..and it’s superb !

For recommendations, Stuck is my favorite title (along with Jealousy. That song just HITS different!).
I'd also recommend Newton (softer, happy song), Find You (ties in with Dramarama for some clear storyline but be prepared to BAWL. It's one of THOSE.) And their English albums are always worth a listen, with Love U being my fav.

I wanted to talk about the concept of the video (I watched an analysis about the concept of the video from one blogger).
So, this is a trilogy of clips ''Shoot Out'', ''Alligator'', ''Follow''. The members of the group are the 7 deadly sins (also the 7 demons of Hell).
In ''Shoot Out'' they are serving their sentences for their sins in the purgatory. Everyone is in their own cell.
Wonho - demon Belphegor / sin of laziness. He is in a narrow cage, where the fog plunges him into the uncertainty of reality and fiction.
Minhyuk is the demon Asmodeus / the sin of lust. He needs contact with someone, which is why he is in a cage with rose thorns, where he cannot touch anyone or anything.
Kihyun is the Mammon demon / the sin of greed. He needs material wealth, therefore he is in a cage with manikins that are empty, there is nothing to steal from them.
Juhyun is the demon Beelzebub / the sin of hunger (gluttony). He is insatiable, because he is too aggressive. He is in a cage and is wearing a mask (muzzle).
Shownu is the demon Satan/sin of wrath. His punishment is anger itself. He, as a true evil, cannot experience anything but anger. He always has a crab of matches with him (fire, this is his catalyst).
I.M - demon Leviathan / sin of envy. Leviathan is a huge snake (he has a tarot card with a snake on it). He is the right hand of Lucifer. His punishment is not to experience emotions in principle, and wish to have it..
Hyungwon - demon Lucifer / sin of pride. He is the ruler of Hell, who wanted to take the place of God, but now he is at the very bottom, where there is no one next to him. For his pride, he is forced to stay in an empty throne room.
Anger, Laziness and Hunger are interconnected in the same way as Lust and Greed, and Envy and Pride.
Having escaped from the cells, they refuse between the world of the living and the dead, the keeper of which is Leviathan / envy (he is the owner of the Tarot cards), which collects them together. Each of them destroys their own tarot card, representing their identity, each of them realizes and accepts his sin in order to complete the punishment. 7 deadly sins come out of purgatory, hiding behind the mask of a good deed.
''Alligator'' is a continuation of the trilogy of clips ''Shoot Out'', ''Alligator'', ''Follow''. The clip begins and we see that the world is immersed in chaos (the street is a mess, sirens are yelling, helicopters are flying). On the wall is a page that says ''The 7 deadly sins are the cause of the apocalypse'', also a brief description of each sin and at the end ''these sins are forbidden by law''.
After leaving purgatory, the guys ended up in a kind of Paradise, where everyone in their room got what they wanted. They show the camera, hinting that they are being watched from above.
Wonho - demon Belphegor / sin of laziness. It is in a room with a large bed. He has an apple (the forbidden fruit of Paradise) in his hand, showing that he still wants to go outside. Having bitten an apple, his room becomes different, burgundy and destroyed, and he is wearing a black robe.
Shownu is the demon Satan/sin of wrath. He is in an empty room with only sculpture heads and empty picture frames. This place should be one where he can no longer feel anger. Once free, he still has a crab of matches with him, with which he wreaks havoc.
Hyungwon - demon Lucifer / sin of pride. He is in the clock room where he sits on a throne (same as in ''Shoot Out''). The clock tells him that he is in no hurry. But he is unhappy, because he, as the ruler of Hell, wants to regain control of the demons.
Minhyuk is the demon Asmodeus / the sin of lust. He is in a room with flowers (the embodiment of love and romance). He must realize that it is necessary not only to receive, but also to give love. But for him, love is equal to pain, and he wants to experience these feelings. He injures the rose, thereby refusing to be corrected.
Kihyun is the Mammon demon / the sin of greed. He is in a room filled with formulas. Someone satisfies greed with love, someone with food. Here he can satisfy his greed with knowledge. But he is tormented by the thirst for material things.
Juhyun is the demon Beelzebub / the sin of hunger (gluttony). He is in a beautiful but emotionally aggressive room. In this room he gets whatever he wants, and as long as he sits there, his greed can no longer develop. But greed can never be satisfied. He constantly wants more and more.
I.M - demon Leviathan / sin of envy. He is in a terrarium-like room (the Leviathan is a huge snake). The window to the world shows him only himself, cutting him off from others and preventing his envy. But he is the right hand of Lucifer, the one who should bring everyone together.
Each of them was given a place to live fully freed from their sins. But desire gets them and they escape from their cells.
Satan/wrath and Beelzebub/hunger run amok in the city. Lucifer/pride, with the help of green smoke, calls to himself his right hand Leviathan/envy. Sins gather together, all around is scarlet. Apocalypse is near.
''Follow'' is the last of the trilogy of clips ''Shoot Out'', ''Alligator'', ''Follow''. There was nothing about this video, so this is my theory of what is happening 😅 First, we are shown a clock that moves faster than usual, everything is orange-yellow around, Satan / anger rises up the stairs and an eclipse occurs, a sign of change. Everyone is in their own location. I am not strong in this, therefore I cannot say the meaning of the locations, but in general they show us.
Wonho - the demon Belphegor / the sin of laziness lies lazily on the vast expanse and drops of water rise up around him (a hint of uncontrolled time).
Minhyuk - the demon Asmodeus / the sin of lust, as if in love, walks around his location.
Juhyun is the demon Beelzebub / the sin of hunger (gluttony). At first we are shown him with his mouth covered with a sweater, but he opens it, begins to behave aggressively and at the end blows up the planet.
Shownu is the demon Satan/sin of wrath. He constantly looks at the light and with each step, climbing the stairs, he approaches the light.
Kihyun is the Mammon demon / the sin of greed. His location is empty, there is a clock on the floor, and he is like the hand of this clock (probably he controls the time).
I.M - demon Leviathan / sin of envy. Leviathan is a huge snake, snakes crawl around him. He eats some blue fruit (I don't know its meaning), his eye becomes like a snake's and another planet explodes.
Hyungwon - demon Lucifer / sin of pride. He, as the ruler of Hell, is shown in front of the eclipsed sun and moon. In the second part of the clip, after they show him, eclipse ends and the sun explodes.
While everyone else is in their locations, Satan/anger continues up the stairs. The rest in their locations watch how the eclipse ends and after the explosion of the sun we are shown how Satan/anger stands at the top of the steps, and the rest, at the head of Lucifer/pride rise to him.
