    Ingredients
    Whole coriander seeds -1 cup
    Cumin seeds ( zeera) - 1 cup
    Star anise- 5-6
    Black cardamom - 15-20
    Green cardamom- 3 tsp
    Cinnamon sticks - 15-20
    Black pepper-3 tsp
    Kabab chini- 2 tsp
    Zavitri - 2 tsp
    Cloves - 2 tsp
    Nutmeg ( jaifal) - 2
    Shah zeera- 3 tsp
    Bay leaves - 8-10
    Procedure
    Heat a pan ,dry roast coriander and cumin seeds for 2-3 minutes on Low medium flame
    Add rest of the whole spices.
    Roast for about 2-3 minutes on Low flame.
    Allow the spices to cool down
    Transfer to a blender jar
    Make a fine powder of roasted spices
    Once it cool down store in an airtight container.
    This homemade masala can be used for 6 months
