i saw better than ezra live in 1997 at liberty lunch in austin, texas; griffin is still the consummate showman. one of the best bands i have ever seen, and i've seen roger waters perform... griffin is right up there.
Not sure if sarcastic or a real question but it's an acoustic - electric guitar. It has a pickup inside the sound hole and the signal is taken out to speakers or whatever else is in the signal chain.
There are… In the sound hole of his guitar just above the top strings is a half-moon shape piece with a couple of rotary dials. Really discrete, I wondered about the same thing. …But there’s definitely a sound hole pickup in there, it’s just hiding.
