Hello I’m from Rosario and I’ve seen that plane taking off thousands of times. It used to be operated by Sol líneas Aéreas as LIMA VICTOR GOLF INDIA INDIA (LV-GII) but the airline broke selling their 3 CRJ’S to air Nostrum. By the time you flew that aircraft it was 12.5 years. Excellent trip report, love it. 😉
Another great Trip Report :D - Longest I have queued for security is 10 mins in Belfast International Airport (BFS), about 5 mins or so in T1 and T2 in Dublin Airport (DUB) and about 20 mins in Brussels Airport - Zaventem (BRU)
Longest line was about 45 minutes waiting at the Jetstar service desk to sort out my options after my flight was cancelled last Friday from Auckland to Palmerston North, New Zealand.
Great weather for flying.Beautiful trip report.Sometimes flights with regional airlines are much better than the flights with a major national airline.
For someone reason at loads of airports I've realised lots of people don't actually care where about they walk, like for example lots of people at the beginning of the video nearly walk into you. There's a very small amount of people who actually look where they are going. That might just be me, but hey! Anyway great video :D
That was the last livery if SOL, when it reached an agreement with Aerolineas Argentinas, that's the reason of the sky blue livery ( which is similar to AR and Austral). Funny thing, Air Nostrum now is investing on Amaszonas, a regional Bolivian carrier who also ( surprisingly) uses the CRJ-200.
Amazing video, again! :D... my longest wait in security control was at Terminal 1 in Sofia airport, so Terminal 1 is use most of low cost carriers such as Easyjet, Ryanair and Wizz air, so the Terminal 1 is really old I mean maybe 70 years old :D but he will be replaced with new :D... and in the morning is very cheap for Ryanair and Wizz air haha :D... Wizz air base in Sofia airport is one of the biggest in East Europe so they have a lot of routes and it's really terrible in the morning, so if you make a Tripreport to Sofia airport I recomend you to use Terminal 2 or if you fly with low cost carrier make your flight if is possible between morning and evening but Ryanair already moved to Terminal 2 so I think terminal 1 will better now. :D I hope that I gave you useful information about the airport in my hometown :D
Very interesting TR! I always wanted to visit both islands together in one vacation as they are so close to each other and discovered that IB flies such a short route. I just visited PMI twice and never MAH, so next time I will consider to do so and try Air Nostrum!
Simply Aviation I've just booked IBZ-PMI-MAH with IB Regional / Air Nostrum for next August (CRJ-200 + ATR 72). Thanks to your TR, I've decided to fly on Air Nostrum instead of Air Europa (Swift Air). The price was actually the same, but Iberia offers fully flexible ticket and better cabin. Your video helped me a lot on my decision. Thank you! ;)
TO THIS CRJ 200 FLIGHT BLOGGER [“SIMPLY AVIATION”], WHAT “A SHORT BUT WORTHY AIR NOSTRUM’S CRJ 200 ESCORT” AND YA’LL, “LATEST S A VIEWERS, ‘MANY THANKS TO YOUR SOVEREIGN’ LORD!!” 🛩️🛩️
Longest and shortest security check was at Chicago O'Hare. The longest time I waited at an airport was in Cabo Mexico. Was the end of spring break and was taking Southwest Airlines to Chicago midway with a stop in Denver. Got to the airport 2 hours before the flight. Got our bags checked and went through security. Got to the gate about 30 minutes before the flight. It was chaos when the scheduled departure time came. 2 flights where scheduled at the same time from the same gate. Waited another 45 mins before leaving the terminal to get on a bus. Waited 40 more minutes before getting on the bus. Got to the plane, got a seat and waited. Then the printer in the ATC tower broke so we had to wait to get weight and weather information. In total we waited about 4 hours to leave.
My longest security wait by far was at Copenhagen airport! 1.5 hours AND they lost my bag. I try to avoid CPH as much as possible! It's not a good airport. They have lost my bag 2 out of 4 times, the terminals are small and old and it takes for ever to get your luggage when you arrive.
My longest wait was in check in. It was 1 hour due to a 1hr 45min delay, so if you were going on my plane they wouldn't let you check in! I was going back from a holiday in Malta to Manchester in with Air Malta, but Lithuanian airline GetJet put an old Airbus in place
I'm flying Iberia very soon to Madrid from Chicago, then onward to Vigo, a city in northwestern Spain. Could you tell me whether they offer good service, they allow carry-on, the legroom, etc; just so I can get a feel of my flight. Thanks!
They are great! But watch our videos to get more information. ;) Iberia 330 ECO: ua-cam.com/video/ANY9CdwwkOs/v-deo.html Ibera 340-600 Business: ua-cam.com/video/8A0zP9E6tjM/v-deo.html
My longest wait was eight hours! Our plane had something seriously wrong with it! And it was also on the other side of the world. The airport said if it didn't arrive by 12 AM we would have to sleep in the airport overnight! And when it was 23:40 an icelandair plane heard about the chaos and because it wasn't scheduled for a flight they brought us all on and we got to go back home
3 hours in Suriname when we landed we hace to pass somthing and it takes 2 hours we landed with klm 747 and the que was not that long (it was ******* long) our family were waiting for us what was the problem the are using not computers but bare hands
My longest wait at security was at Paris Charles de Gaulle, it took us about an hour to get through, and our flight back to Edinburgh made it's final call when we got through.
In Cyprus I waited 1,5h to check-in, another 1,5h to get to the security even more to get through the security. The flight got really delayed cause no one arrived at the gate in time!
I'm curious, for regional flights between small airports like this, as passengers just walk to their planes, not being transported by the shuttle bus, is it possible for someone to board the wrong plane?
I'm gonna tell you why the airplane has that paint scheme on it. Around 2 years ago, "Sol líneas Aéreas" from Argentina leased 3 or 4 crj200 of Air Nostrum. Since "Sol líneas aéreas" at that moment was a subsidiary of "Austral líneas aéreas" (Aerolíneas Argentinas regional airline), they had to have similar colours. If you google, Aerolíneas Argentinas and Austral do have almost the same livery...but unfortunately Sol Lineas Aéreas ended operation 2 months later. There are for sure some images out there of that same CRJ200 with the "Sol" logo. hope that it was a useful comment. I love your videos by the way! Keep it up :) I would love to meet you on one of my Lufthansa flights haha. Take care!
My longest wait was when I arrived back in Brisbane few months ago from Europe via Dubai...the security checking area was smaller then what was in this video and it was full all the way out pass the entrance, I guess there was already like 400+ pax from our a380 plus extra 400 from multiple other planes that had just landed, wasn't that bad, I'm not complaining xD
Palma de Mallorca is such a weird airport because all of the terminals check in at the same bit and than split off to the terminals. I know this because I have been there before
Yeah! I'm also curious to know on why that Qatar Airways B747-800 is in Palma de Mallorca? Is the Qatari royal family having their vacation in Mallorca Island.
Thank you thank you thank you! and again a big thank you simply aviation, Thank you for always fulfilled me, every time i go to bed , and also before going to school i always watch you! this is what i like, continue what you are doing, godbless
SYD Intl. is like the fastest possible security check, in fact, there is no check. You just go pass the walkway, get in, let the high tech machines swallow your passport for a bit and you get a selfie taken. Done.
Hi I liked the video and especially the subtitles, my longest wait was probably in Seattle for less than 20 mins. What kind of camera do you use, is it a GoPro?
So excited for two trip reports a week!! Yes now I can be jealous and wish I had the luck you two have all I want. (In all seriousness thank you guys so much for doing this. I myself also do trip reports and fly but no where near as much as you guys do. I fly maybe once a month if I'm lucky)
You know what you should add to your tripreports?
A map at the beggining to show where will you fly!!!!!
Karlis Oss agreed
Karlis Oss watch his flight Austrian emberair e195 first flight that has a map!
Karlis Oss yes please add a map in the beginning!
nah, i dont like, i want a surprise because if you know where he goes that you dont like, you dont watch it,
Aljory Lorenz Rumbaoa we do watch but we probably dont pay attention to the map or we are somewhere doing something.
Another great report. What do you film on, Felix?
i'm also want to know..looks like a gopro..and how he mount it?
100 % a Gopro, the wide lens is always the give away. Or some form of Gopro.

international - Paris CDG 25 mins.
my longest security check wa in Frankfurt like 30'min in 2014 summer.
I'm fascinated by the fact that European airlines still use some of their :-) US airlines like American or Delta rarely use those unfortunately :-(
My longest wait was at Chicago O'hare T2, took me around 50 minutes to clear security. Really old and horrible terminal as well...
My longest wait at security was at Paris Charles de Gaulle, it took us about an hour to get through, and our flight back to Edinburgh made it's final call when we got through.
€0.50 for a ham cheese sandwich?? I can’t even get one that cheap in 7-11
In Cyprus I waited 1,5h to check-in, another 1,5h to get to the security even more to get through the security. The flight got really delayed cause no one arrived at the gate in time!
Around 10-30 mins at the Gold Coast (Coolangatta), Melbourne (Tullamarine), Cairns and Brisbane Airports.
I'm curious, for regional flights between small airports like this, as passengers just walk to their planes, not being transported by the shuttle bus, is it possible for someone to board the wrong plane?

Palma de Mallorca is such a weird airport because all of the terminals check in at the same bit and than split off to the terminals.

worst line was passport control getting into Macau! Took 1 hour for Chinese passport control, then another 2 hours for Macau.
Yeah! I'm also curious to know on why that Qatar Airways B747-800 is in Palma de Mallorca? Is the Qatari royal family having their vacation in Mallorca Island.

My longest wait for security-control was about 35 mins at Istanbul sabia-gökcen

Is Air Nostrum (Iberia Regional) a low cost carrier ? Bcoz they are selling inflight meals onboard. I thought its complimentary.
In southern Europe you never get something for free on short haul.
