Treacy averaged more goals and marks last year. He also had a higher scoring accuracy over 20 games compared to Thilthorpe's 7 games Higher average stats on an increased sample size for Treacy I understand if you prefer Thilthorpe, but taking Treacy over him is not nuts by any means - Matsa
@ I honestly think even the eye test tells you that Thilthorpe is/will be better. He’s got a much bigger bag, much more versatile and chops out in the ruck, so that skews the number a bit. Will go closer to 50/50 between ruck and forward in the future too.
100% Thilthorpe smashes the eye test. Just needs to show us a full season of being a top notch player Treacy's done that, and that's why he goes ahead for me right now - Matsa
Wrong straight off the bat! You have a 200cm unit of a man, about to rip a new hole in the competition, and you think Adelaide would take a midfielder over a giant forward, that the entire list has been built around? Key Forwards are CRITICAL to any success. Riley Thilthorpe would be No 1. If anyone disagrees, you're wrong!
respectfully, i think you’ve got no idea, the analysis on the crows is just way off, it’s clear you piggy back off your mate who actually knows things about footy.
@ i just think you underrate our youth, dowling has to be in our 23 i reckon, keays you cannot play on a wing i feel he’s better utilised in a forward position, and is josh treacy really a better player than RT?
To be honest with you, the Crows are one of the teams I anticipate to make the biggest jumps next year You might know something about Dowling I don't, but don't be surprised if he gets squeezed out of the team with Peatling, Cumming and Neal-Bullen all coming in Treacy is a better player right now and more of a sure thing. In saying that, one relatively injury free Thilthorpe season would more than likely change my mind
Treacy ahead of Thilthorpe is absolutely nuts. If it weren’t for injury he would’ve kicked 50 goals this year lmfao

As a Crows fan I'm picking Pedlar well ahead of Berry, It's only injuries that have held him back
Interesting that. Hopefully Pedlar can get a decent run at it and we can see what he's all about
- Matsa
Absolutely not overrating Holmes - and I say that as a Dogs fan. He's a gun
I feel validated 😂
- Matsa
gulden, jamarra and thilthorpe would be my top 3
I think the other thing I would say about Gulden is he plays well in a system that suits him.
Definitely been given the opportunity to shine, but still deserves credit tho
- Matsa
Correct me if I’m wrong, but it looks like you may have missed an Essendon pick. You picked twice (8 & 9) when they had 3 selections.
Ah yep, good pick up 👍
- Matsa
Max Holmes above Jamarra is laughable but he would be top 10 in a rederaft for sure
Holmes is top 3-4 at the minimum in my opinion. I understand if you'd have Jamarra higher tho
- Matsa
yeah not laughable at all
What is laughable is Jamarra’s set shot kicking.
Holmes second absolutely justifiable.
Melbourne would 100% draft Bowey again if given the choice between his career and Will Phillips
Yeah Willphil was a biased North pick 😂
- Matsa
I think the 2020 draft was a crapshoot because of the Rona.
Yeah a very much compromised draft
Wrong straight off the bat!

I appreciate the feedback, but where did I go so wrong on my Crows analysis?
Seems a little harsh 😂

@ well for starters you can’t pronounce rachele correctly
I'll have to brush up on my Italian, but in regards to the footy?
