This is what I exactly needed Thank you..
omg thanks max, I was just wondering about this
8:04 I was slightly disappointed that you did not mention TU Chemnitz with its M. Sc. Data Science degree. Sure, there are a dozen universities that offer similar programs, but the one in Chemnitz is quite unique, and I'd argue it offers exactly what you need as a future ML engineer. At least when I was researching it three years ago, there was nothing comparable out there.
In contrast to literally any other ML or Data Science program, in TU Chemnitz there are only three mandatory modules: introduction to Data Science, introduction to Neural Networks, and a coding seminar project. All other stuff is elective! This allows you to specialize in whatever topic is most relevant to you, and also to brush up on some topics where you have a knowledge gap. There is a quite impressive list of "regular" lectures you can choose from, which covers almost everything you may need, from heavy maths stuff like Theory of Optimization, to more practival CS stuff like Multiprocesing, and also some niche stuff like Neurocognition or XML Metadata parsing, just to name a few. In addition, every new semester they offer specialized state of the art lectures which are designed from scratch and are only offered once. For example, I took a lecture about solving Inverse Problems with Deep Learning, which is an extremely niche topic, but it was exactly what I needed at the time. And if this is not enough, there are also some "placeholder" modules which you can fill with any other lecture offered by the university, for example you could take a lecture about autonomous driving from the IT department, or some biology lecture, or literally anything else. Machine Learning is not only about machine learning, it is also about domain knowledge and specific use cases, so this freedom allows you to learn something outside of ML bubble to better understand the domain you want to operate in.
Is the medium of instruction, german? I referred to the website and they mention it to be exclusively in German. Could you help me provide clarity on this part?
@@akileshwarans4733 In practice, 95% of electives and all mandadory lectures are in english, so there is no problem to finish the program without speaking german.
However, due to some bureaucratic rules, the official language of the course is german. I think it is because some of the elective lectures are in german, but idk. This does not prevent you from applying and getting a place, but you'll need to learn the language during the studies and provide the german language certificate by the end of the 3rd semester. These things might have changed in the meantime, so better consult with the university service center about the details.
going for data science degree is hugely better than focused AI degree, cuz your getting the most important builder block for any AI module which is data, you need to be good at collecting and managing data
Thanks a lot for this one man!! It was really needed.I wanna do my MS AI from germany
This Video has come at the right time for me, I was just thinking about applying for KI Courses in Uni
@@DATABRO6130 i have the same question. Is there ones you would recommend and that are on your list?
You should make a dedicated video on all courses explaining each of them.
Can you make a video suggesting some certain skills for the data science/ cs based on the German market? Thank yiu
Thank youuuuu
Make a video about UI/UX Design career options aswell
there is another way to learn about AI and get a job, which is online courses with neat problem-solving skills + an github portfolio assembling all your projects in it to showcase your expertise, with same time of uni you'll portfolio will get you a place
don't underestimate this roadmap, people from USA get employed because of it, 30% of IT employees are self-taught
Great video man.. i have a video request for you as well: How to get admission into Automobile Designing in Germany (Art School). Its a very less discussed topic, been very difficult to research about on the internet for me. Would be really helpful..
Plz make a dedicated video on data science and it's opportunities
Funny how i was already applying to one and then this comes up. Thank you Max!!
please make a dedicated video on chenical engineering and its opportunities in germany
Hi Max. Please make a video on cybersecurity job market and the universities offering the course I can only see very few public universities offering this course and I really want to go for it.
Hey max🙌, do you recommend to take a computer science course and then do a masters in Ai or just start with a bachelor in Ai
Yo con Tensorflow en la mochila 😎
Buen vídeo.
Can you make a video on studing cloud computing in Germany
Does anyone know the business analytics courses in Germany are with AI or is there a separate course called “ Business Analytics: with AI”
Make a video about startup scene in Germany
Thanks, would you recommend it for ausbildung too
@Max Hey Max!! There is a degree called MS AI in Society at TU Munich. Can you investigate the scope ,is it a degree worth pursuing as someone who wants to pursue masters in AI?
Hi. I planning to do my bachelors in mechatronik, and for Masters, AI and Machine Learning. Do you think this path is okay?
Is there any business analytics or information systems bachelors degree that are taught in English in Germany or elsewhere in Europe? The only closest thing I can find was BSc in Management and Technology in TUM, and it requires German proficiency. There is Computational Business Analytics offered by Frankfurt school of finance and management, how good is that? (Given that it's a private university)
Im not sure if u have a video on that, but just in case if you don't have one (idea). Students that are already enrolled and want to transfer universities, how some ects can not be accepted or how sometimes some people have to start over or how this or that, ( im still looking those up).
Actually I don't comment on UA-cam vedio may be I don't want to but after watching your vedio I can't stop to appreciate you are the best research presenter with excellent knowledge...
Hello! Can you make a video on bachelors in International Relations / political science / joint majors as economics and politics in Germany? That would help a lot!
University of Munster is offering a joint bachelor in Economics and Politics...you can check it..

Is it easy to study AI in Germany comparing to other countries
I got admitted to SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences to study MSc. Computer Science with focus on AI and Big Data. What do you think, Max?
Is it a good private university to start with?
A good informative video.
@@maxyoko yo bro can you make some switzerland/sweden related videos, because most of these countries have very similar university requirements like germany. I'm an international and I wanna go to either germany or switzerland. Also, I don't think you mentioned one important point in your videos that while german universities may have cheap tuition, the cost of living is very very high for international students.
Another thing I'd like to ask, what are the requirements to join some of these popular public unis in germany? I have AABC in CIE AS level grades, so do you think I'd be able to join Ubonn and TUM?
Is there 1 year MS in Ai in germany public universities?
Can you please make a video on finance
8:08 Many schools offer A.I as part of computer science or embedded systems engineering.
I study at UniFreiburg and that is what they do, I was surprised I didn't see the university in the list.
Hey i wanted to ask one thing regarding uni of freiburg the ms cs with specialisation in AI they offer?? I heard its completely flexible so can anyone enroll into it and study only AI related modules in his 4 semesters?? or is it like a regular computer science degree with some additional modules which you can pick for AI?
@@byron-ih2ge It's very flexible, you can study regular computer science with some A.I. modules or just study A.I modules throughout. To get the A.I specialization added to your degree, you must have certain amount of etcs in A.I modules and your thesis must be in an A.I. field.
@@simbol5638 oh ok so there is no concept of core modules ,all modules are droppable?so you are saying despite getting ms cs with AI specialisation as my degree when i complete my masters I can create my curriculum in such a way that from start to finish only AI Modules are present?? No need of OS or DSA or Computer network any of the core computer science concepts which are usually mandatory when ur studying a cs degree??
Yeah. There are mandatory and elective courses. And in both there are A.I courses to pick. Also there is study project which can also do in A.I specialisation

Hi Max, I will be visiting Germany with my children this summer to convince them that they should consider Germany for further education. I read that we can walk around German universities but cannot enter the buildings. Are the campus spread out through the city eg TUM.
Are the campus spread out through the city eg TUM? Yes,... we do not really have campus universities in Germany. We have university cities. ;-) By the way, they should consider typical smaller, but famous German university cities. Heidelberg, Braunschweig, Tübingen, Darmstadt,... Dresden,... Jena,.. etc. Les expensive, more familiar,... ;-). But as Max mentioned,... German Universities are not made for kids! They expect adults, not a joke,... the bitter truth!
@@AltIng9154 thank you ! Agree w your pt on the smaller ones. Well 17 year old - adult or kid ?
@@ahanny1296 17 years old is even a child by law,... . Adult means 18 years,... but as a mom of boys, you may already know, that boys are often kids as long they can grow. Men forget it, but boys are very less mature than girls the same age! In general. I already was a skilled worker, when I joined the Uni,... that means, I felt like the big brother of my co-students, although I was only 22 old. What about to do a 2 years apprenticeship, become a young man, learn the basic skills, be guided by a crafts master and join Uni aged 20? As Max mentioned it, Uni is not made for kids,...A student is expected to be a self-reliant, disciplined person!

@@maxyoko Thank you so much, I hope you make some videos about Ausbildung and Dual Studies for English speakers, if you have time. Much appreciate.
I think you missed one another type of course that may lead to the AI - Mathematic.
And I think it's a lot of better course than CS if you want to have a lot of opportunities. With Math you can either go to sciense, to CS and programming, to AI, to economics and much more.
But of course it has its cons. The first one - it may be to hard as it has a lot of maths :D And the second one - it may be too abstract and you may need more time to specialize.
BTW, thank you for your video
Basically bad major which is irrelevant and impractical in the current world focused on the outcome rather than theoretical time wasting
@@Drannn54 Math can be either pure and applied. And applied math covera actually most of the top fields - eco/CS/AI. In my uni, a half of bachelor works are neuro network works BEFORE ChatGPT and new AI hype were born. And people with math diplom could easily go in a lot if fields. Yes, you may need an additional efforts to gain experience. But keep in mind, as math is hard you have much less competitors on the job market.
@@Artem-Kazak11 wrong notion to believe that Math graduates are doing well however in reality the probability of finding a job with that degree is lower and people mostly don’t work as planned
@@Drannn54 what exactly you mean that people don't work as they planned? If it's macdonalds, I don't believe that it's more than in CS. If people with math degree work as software developers => I don't see it as "not planned".
