I tried to get my gf back two days ago with flowers. We had been no contact for a week and I thought as it’s Christmas I would go to her with flowers to try and talk.

Hey guys and Coach Lee. I've had a gf who dumped me after 1 1/2 years. I'm using the no contact rule. With emotions high I blocked her the day of. It's been one week and reading about it I find this is not a good idea.
I've only stumbled across the no contact rule today. So, my question is, do I keep my ex blocked, or do I unblock them? I am torn for an answer and not sure how to proceed forward with the no contact rule.

Jess-wk5jo, the answer to this question is YES. Two people can love each other and enjoy each other's company without having sex. I read about this, and there are a few authors who wrote these books based on fact.

Ex reached out after 2.5 months of NC to tell me that she has been severely depressed. know that she has a history of depression (on meds) I didn't ignore as instructed. But it seems like she needed to vent but is still seeing someone else. Do I continue to check her well being on occasion or go back to NC??

Now i know why she was so adamant on getting her divorce. Listen, the best thing you can do is to try once to talk it out with your partner to show your desire of making the marriage work , but if she is still insisting on the divorce, give her the break up and hold the door for her to leave . Sometimes you need to! If she is talking divorce, definitely call a lawyer because there are small, innocent things that can screw you over - especially men - in divorce proceedings.
@RealCoachlee Exactly. I was almost a victim of letting those little things go by me, my lawyer kept me informed on how to handle things from a legal standpoint, and what was best for my kids. Those "little things" allowed me to get full custody of my children when doing the right legal thing was instrumental in the decision.
