I looooooved Poison in 1990 (that year looks weird to me now) - borrowed it from a friend before we went out dancing and I never felt like I smelled so good in my life - it was magical - I guess they probably reformulated it (along with my favorite in the 80’s, Obsession) - you could wear perfume that had nuclear projection and it never made people wince, only say you smelled good. I’m wondering if something about reformulations that are more synthetic aren’t the same as far as attraction to our noses and other people’s noses too - I don’t like the thought of using animals for the civet musk, and I’m glad I didn’t know about that fact, but even Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy is a boring fruit juice compared with the original.

I love Dior parfume. The first poison i have is tendre poison, the green one. Its dark, sexy, sensual, and very long lasting, and next i'm planning to buy the pure poison for my signature scent :)

I'm SO thankful we finally have some perfume subscription services in Australia! I've never been able to afford to blind buy a whole bottle before, the price tag on a risky purchase was way too scary. Through the monthly subscription I've been able to try Poison Girl EDT and Hypnotic Poison. PG is beautiful year round but HP is a cold weather scent for sure. The only way I can describe it on me is marshmallows, but grown up. It drives my husband mad, he thinks it's so sexy and he comes up to me for more hugs than any other time of year 😅

You should say all poisons, not hypnotic poisons because hypnotic is just flanker of poison , like pure, midnight, girl. Every is poison but only 3 in your collection are Hypnotic 😘 other 3 are Girl , not Hypnotic
Poison girl dior perfume is strong and longlasting 🤔

How do you pick out certain notes? Sounds dumb but I don’t know what notes in My Way, Libra, Born in Roma, NR For Her, Gucci Bloom and everything else that’s pure floral, Alien, Angel, even D&B Light Blue Forever (too floral), etc. that nauseate me. I love vanilla so much and recently bought Billie Eilish and really thought it would be another Cloud, or Mod Vanilla, that pull rotten milk or plastic, but Eilish seems good so far. I love Cozy Vanilla Bourbon from bath and body works, and Sunrise Woods is everything I love - berry, sandalwood and cashmere (missing vanilla but you can’t tell. My daughter’s favorite on me is Skylar Salt Air - simple, clean, not overbearing or overwhelming, but I don’t care if a scent is linear because I buy based on the initial spray and it never lasts, so I’ll be disappointed most of the time if it’s really complex.

If you are buying Hypnotic Poison I would recommend the EDT version. It’s beautiful...sweet almond and vanilla notes with soft Jasmine petals and musk. I also love Tobacco Vanille so in this case I have a few recommendations😉
1. Black Phantom by Kilian (Rum Almond chocolate notes)
2. Delina Exclusif by Parfums de Marly (rose Oud Vanille pear notes)
3. Dior Addict (tonka and vanilla)

Elena, you are correct. The OG Poison came out in 1985. The rest are flankers to the original.

Hello pretty. I see your hypnotic poison Edt bottle has a lot of clarity. i can see perfume inside. but mine is very much opaque and more toward burgandy and very dark at the bottom. is mine fake? or older version?

I have hypnotic poison edt and poison girl edp. Are poison girl edp and edt so different?? And I heard poison girl unexpected does not last at all... is that true? 💕

From my personal experience they are different. The EDP is rich darker and much sweeter. The EDT is fresher with a warm citrus (neroli) note. I honestly do not think that you need both fragrances. If I had to pick one to buy it would be the EDP. Hope that helps 😀💖
PG unexpected- you should try a sample first as everyone will have a different pH and body chemistry. It will last for me between 3-4 hours 😉💗
