Very helpful. I know nothing about the tone mapping section, though I see mentions about it all the time. A thorough tutorial about it would be good.
Thanks for this.
The tone mapping is actually used to set correct and precise exposure using Sun and Sky in iray according to scene situation , for example Sunny Day shot , F16 , Shutter speed 1/100 ISO 100 , it will create sharper Reflections on the model surfaces , the tone mapping can control how softer or sharper the Reflections appears on the surfaces , it is also great to control proper the Canvases . Sadly you missing the most important parts of the settings . Sliding Exposure up and down will give you nothing , just eyeballing the situation . That is how everyone else do from lack of knowledge . Learn photography rules and teach proper . Stay away from the Exposure slider , Use proper HDRI or Sun and Sky and learn how to setup proper your Camera settings ( Tone mapping )for the best results . There are thing called The Sunny 16 rule also known as the sunny f/16 rule , it is a method for establish perfect exposure for any sunny day lighting situation without light meter what is ideal for Iray .
That seems very interesting. You should do a video about it or even a paid tutorial if needed.
Is your Camera defekt? On the left and then right side are big black bars.
That's often a sign that something was shot through a phone? The dimensions of the image are different (rectangular).
It's a cropped screen grab to show folks the important part, rather then the whole screen.
The only thing with a Defect here, is your comprehension of basic video production.
So much wasted space. You can have the preview on the right (or left) of the settings to better utilize the space. There is no reason to have large empty areas in your video. I'm appreciative for anyone sharing a how to, but format is distracting viewers from the message.
@@aliesez My guess is that the smaller preview window makes things render much faster on his machine (less pixels to render out). It is just an example. It could also have been for the YT shorts but was uploaded here erroneously.
