You press the new bearing on/in by pressing the race that mounts on the shaft or in the housing. The way you did it you damage the bearing.

Hi, please what were the bearing sympthoms? Mine mounted has a very slight 'free sway' and spins with a slight sound..?

My bearing must have "welded" itself into the plastic case. I have even used a press, and it just started to deform the case.
