@@MannsModelMoments but how would you get the tape off the - presumably flat - surface it was taped to? You could instead buy a mask set where the cutting out has already been done and just peel those off, or do as Matt (Model Minutes) often does and tape the whole canopy using a craft knife to cut around the canopy framework - IF of course its well defined.
The Sally looks great, will be a great kit if you can do justice to those clear parts. Be challenging to get them looking good and they are large so will be a focus point. At least the Sally again shows the quality of ICM’s moulding on these recent kits.
Are the panel lines raised or recessed on the Nates? I couldn't quite tell from the video and I don't think you mentioned (if you did, sorry - I must've missed that)
What did you think of the boxing of these kits? Is it something you can see yourself picking up and building? Let me know below....
Interesting you appreciated the canopy templates. I saw another ICM kit unboxed a few days ago and the reviewer queried how anyone would use them.
@@julianmhall I think it would be very simple - put the template over tape, cut around template with hobby knife, repeat! 😁

I've got the sally in my stash..looking forward to the build, but I've also got the hasagawa G4M2E Betty and ginga to build
The sally a flying q gardens 😂looks a really nice kit though.
I don't mind masking but the sheer number of windows in the sally pushes it a little down the list for me.

They're actually a mix!
