GREAT Instuctions🤗10 years ago or so. I was a new quilter. Sewed this fabulous hex table topper. Just did'nt know how to finish it. 🤗Thanks to you I will be finishing a long over due project❣️
Excellent demonstation!!! This is the best instructional video on mitered corners. The camera is exactly where it needs to be to show the student what they need to know! Thank you soooo much!
Haha! Thank you for this!! I kept trying to search for a video tutorial on how to miter different angles and couldn't find any! I ended up winging it with okay results and then a week later, I get recommended this video 🤣🤣 I'll save it for future reference ♥
Thank you for this! This is exactly the info I was looking for, but didn't find until searching for "acute angle binding." I'm actually doing an "inset edge trim" on an angled pocket flap on a purse, but this is exactly the methodology I was trying to figure out after several failed attempts and many UA-cam tutorials that did not address mitered corners outside of 90°.
Thank you Marci! Your tutorial was perfect and well done! It was the perfect teaching guide and helped me complete a table runner with large angled corners.
Hi Marci, as I said: You are a real professional! You have indeed a profound knowledge and you can answer all our questions comprehensively, without avoiding difficulties. Respect! Greetings from Germany.
I just used this video for some placemats I was making. Excellent video. Thank you so much. My binding and corners turned out beautiful. It was exactly what I was looking for.
Your video is by far the best binding video I've seen. I constantly refer my new quilter customers to it to assist them in better looking binding. Thanks so much for your efforts on behalf of quilters.
This is a really great video tutorial and the instructions are well explained. I have learned so much and now my bindings will be perfect! Thank you so much for your work.
ty Marci, I am making a set of 4 season mug rugs and the one for Fall is a 5 sided pieced rug. two sides are not 45 degrees, as you can see in your mind. So here I am on you tube looking for information and your video was first in line. I typed 'bind a quilt with angles'. la la !
Thanks for this wonderful video. Even though, I've done this before, it's been fantastic to see it recorded and explained in such a clear and easy-to-follow way.
Excellent instruction! I am a very new quilter and wonder this: If I'm doing an economy binding (2" binding folded in half with one raw edge pressed to the center fold), is the process the same? I think I'm confused because I'm not using a binding where the two raw edges are sewn together but using one where there is only one raw edge. Thanks for your help. Glad I found your channel!!
Wow that is such a great video, thank you for making a tricky problem simple😄 could you show me how to bind an internal corner I am trying to bind a rectangle cut out in my project
thanks for that great video tutorial, this might be a silly question but you draw the lines on the quilt so how do you know when to pivot when you are sewing on the binding ?
I have just what you are looking for with my inside angles. View it and more videos here: quiltwithmarcibaker.com/binding-inside-angles/ For some reason, UA-cam doesn't post my other videos very often.
Thanks for asking about the trimming. I will keep that in mind for future videos. I would love to show every single step in the process. However, I have found that I lose my audience if I go into too much detail. Maybe I can make two videos - the highlights and the in depth versions.
hi my name is Tommye , I made a strata star and I messed it up when I did it there way. so I need to miter a star table topper. this shows the point but I'm not able to find how to do the "V" shape. do you have a view of that.ty
Hi Tommye, Here is the link to the inside corner miter. Let me know if this works for you and if you have any other questions. Enjoy your quilting! ua-cam.com/video/4VGNcDoI-R8/v-deo.html
