This honestly takes me back to when me and my family used to go on holidays and my dad would drive the whole night till we were there. I always loved those night drives, sleeping, watching all the lights, listening to the sounds, watching the raindrops on the windows. Wow, almost forgot that. Thank you.

I love when my mom or anybody drives me when it’s dark & thundering I always stare out the window and look at the lighting bolts I’m always so fascinated.

I was trying to sleep and not trying to be dramatic but I have anxiety and honestly sometimes anxiety gets worse during nights. I usually panic a lot when I don’t get to see the outside world or any faces. This honestly helped me a lot cause I felt more connected to the world and it calmed me down more. Thanks for posting this. This video is really important to me.

I get it as I'm going to bed. What haven't I done today that I should have? What else could I be doing with my life? I should be better at things than I am. I panic about what I need to get done the next day, the next week, what will happen when I graduate, if I graduate! The list goes on. Before bed is the worst...

Sometimes, it was fun to imagine little creatures as the light moved to bypass the time. They hopped around the car like rabbits made of shade.
Eventually, the peaceful noises of the car rocked you to sleep.

I always end up asleep in a car. I've always had difficulties falling asleep at night as a kid (and now adult) It got so bad that my parents would drive around the block to get me to nod off. I don't know if it's the motions of the car, the sound, the feeling but... I'm really happy that you made this. I spend a lot of nights awake, half giving up on falling asleep. I seek out comfort in ASMR and soothing music/voices. Breathing sounds. Rn I'm on medication to help me sleep, but this will help me cross over in comfort.
So, thank you random stranger: You've just made my life a little bit easier tonight... And hopefully in the near future if this keeps working.

I had to take a plane during covid and we all had to wear masks and we were not to be allowed onto the plane if we had a cough. I held back coughs for the whole one hour flight 😂.

This helps me sleep because it reminds Me of the times where the sleep was the best. On a long drive on a rainy or cold night with condensation on the windows from the hot car lying spread through the back seats and falling asleep with my coat as my blanket. Will forever miss those days

I had this on loop in my headphones all night...and it worked so well I had them on all morning and evening as well. I woke up at 6:30 pm with this still in my ear. Best sleep I've had in a while. About 20 hours
Thus video eased my anxiety. I have PTSD and falling asleep alone makes me feel anxious. This video calmed me because it tricked my brain into thinking "You're in a vehicle. Someone us driving. You aren't alone and you're safe." I did have a nightmare but waking up was much easier because I convinced my brain before I fell asleep that someone would be there.

I feel exactly the same way. I wish I could just start over in another country. Problem is, I have the best friends one could possibly have and they're all here in Norway. It'd break my heart to have to leave them. So it looks like I'll be staying.

This reminds me of when my mom and dad were driving me and my sis to Disney World a month or two ago and we arrived at the hotel at like 11 pm and the drive there was so peaceful and relaxing just like the driving in this video. first of all hello! There is so much I want to say, but I don't know where to start. I have had sleep problems for years but amazingly it has disappeared since I discovered your channel. I am only on your channel, not only while sleeping, even on the road or while eating. all day. Now I can solve all my problems with a comfortable mind. and thank you very much for that! Back in my college days, sometimes did this in some of the most stressing times (piles and piles of projects due the next day 😂).. at peak stress, i went in my car and drive (at midnight).. just cruising along the calm and tranquill city with upbeat lofi/chill house music.. at the end of my drive, i would go to a 24 hour fast food chain and order a large burger, fries and coke and back to my dorm feeling like most of my stresses lifted.. now im at a generously stable life, i do get piles of work, and try to replicate my habbits (late night drive, chill house music, fast food takeouts).. but i dont know why, its just doesnt feel quite the same (not as statisfying at the end it).. been 8 years since my college days, even though those times felt like hell sometimes, but i do really miss it

This video put my extremely stubborn yet exhausted 9month old to sleep in two minutes. This video is a gift.
I am a long haul trucker, and when i first started i HATED night shift driving. Then i developed an appreciation for it over time. It can be quite peaceful, i put on audio books or relaxing music and just enjoy the drive and empty roads now.

Late night drives like this one are what I consider "my happy place". Whenever I get anxious, stressed, worried or have a panic attack... I think of being here. Front seat/back seat/driver, these drives always give me a sense of comfort and a chance to self reflect on my mental health and life. As I pass the vibrant yellow streetlights, as another car passes by me and I see his bright headlights slowly grow smaller, I just sit there in the car admiring the night while cruising to my infinite playlist. If I could stay on one late night drive forever where I could reflect on what I've done already and what I want to do with my life in the future... I would take that opportunity.
As someone living in Korea, these are amazing. They help me fall asleep every night. Thank you so much for these.

always reminds me of the vacations I had as a kid with na parents. my dad always drove over night and I just loved waking up at 5AM when the car got off the highway and is slowly cruising around a small coast town in search for our vacation home. it so comforting to me. takes me back to a time I didn’t have to worry about anything.

This reminds me of when my father used to drive way back home from the beach and the farm, I loved to put my face over the car window and see the nightsky while feeling the air massaging my face, those warm colors from the tunnels and the city, as well as the bright red and blue lights from the cars were everything, this video is so calming, so relaxing, so nostalgic.
I always watch your ridescapes to help me regulate my overthinking. I usually watch your videos with slowed/reverb songs and have them on repeat while watching these in full screen. idk why but picturing me as passenger w/ the background music kinda help me during my overthinking phase everytime. This reminds me when I was young and I was used to seat in the backseat whit my father driving in the summer nights. I had the fresh air on my legs. This combo between the night driving and the air conditioning on my legs gave me the best feeling ever. Shivering on my back all the travel. Who the same?

When i was a kid we used to always drive everywhere (Europe) on hollidays. This video reminds me of the trips back home, 5 of us in the car. Dad's driving, everyone is asleep except for him and me. I can just hear the faint radio while i stare out of the window. "Only 500 kilometers left", i think to myself as i see us on the gps. I wish i could go back to those days

Thank you, dad, for all those times you would carry my sister and me, groggy and half-sleeping, to the family car at four in the morning and lay us down in our prepared spots so that we could get an early start on our camping trip. You never had a dad who was around for you, and yet you were the most wonderful embodiment of God's fatherly love I could ever have asked for. I'll never forget it.
This reminds me of when my family used to go daytrips up north, driving home at night after a long day. I used to just sit in the car watching all the lights and all the scenery go by. I miss those days.

During these hard times, I just love going back to this video and just chilling while I do my homework in the dark, pretending that I'm in the car with someone. I'm trying to get all my work done as soon as possible so when we get to our destination, I'll be free. And although it isn't exactly like that, the cycle repeats and I get the satisfaction of then sleeping in your "car". Thank you so much.
