Like Jophesine!! ♥️"Dolly did it" was one of the earliest funny memories I ever had. Maryanne Fahey and Marg Downey are two or the most underrated Australian comedians in my opinion.
Damn man Comedy Company was way ahead of its time wasn't it?! This was the Australia that I SO used to love so much, where we could laugh and take the pi$$ out of everything. Never taking ourselves too seriously unless it was absolutely needed. 1980's Australia was great so chill, cool and laid back. Now look at us after 33 years here?! We're so PC, woke and have commie influences...Instead of making me laugh, this fills me with alot of sorrow and sadness on how we have fallen as a country...I honestly feel that back in the 1980's we made more progress than via 2021. So innovative and creative at that time of 1988 back then...When I see this now it's like I don't know my own country anymore as of now in the 21st century. The concept was that things were supposed to get better not worse now but if the 1980's Australia taught us anything?! It was this was about as good as it was going to get back then. I don't even want to know what a 2028 Australia will even be like?! But it can't be good. I miss 1980's Australia SO much especially now via 2021 beyond....
Well it looks of now by the way our country is going that some Aussies slowly are waking up to what has happened now and while that's great via our governments?! I fear that it might be too late as the events of the past 3 decades have not only crippled us but the world in itself. We may have to fight for the old way back and I'm prepared to do so.
When I was a kid my parents would sit me in a room with this playing each day, they were so busy with working they thought this was the real playschool... First day of school I get suspended for calling everyone idiots amungst other things...
@TheAstrius You Cant Do That On Television! You named a favourite of mine. They imported that Canadian series and showed it here in the late 80s and early 90s. The brilliant Les Lye was terrific. His filthy Senator Prevert reminded me of Homer Simpson and looked like a northern hemisphere version of Sir Les Patterson. Look up some of his clips on here ;)
This is funny taking the Mickey out of play school and Glenn and maryanne do a very good job at it I love it when Mary was getting up Glenn for drinking last night with some blonde floosy I know it's like about 20 plus years old but still funny
32 years later and I'm laughing harder than before
Mary-Anne Fahey is an underrated genius. She created so many great characters on this show.
Like Jophesine!! ♥️"Dolly did it" was one of the earliest funny memories I ever had.

Do you have to use buzzwords especially when she was a famous person in Australia and certainly wasn't underrated at all
*One of the sharpest, cruellest, funniest bits of Aussie humour ever!*
Get a grip
I’ve watched this 6 times and I’m still in stitches😂
This is absolute GOLD
Brilliant sketch watching from Ireland
That was hilarious. It reminds me a lot of Hale and Pace over here in the UK.
I miss these years so much
I swear to god Google bought out all the TV stations so we could only have American entertainment

Yes back in 80 and 90's were very good in Australia I recalled.

Leftiest U.N policies Australia signed up to
This show kept me sane in the late eighties
When I was a kid my parents would sit me in a room with this playing each day, they were so busy with working they thought this was the real playschool... First day of school I get suspended for calling everyone idiots amungst other things...
Back in the days when Aussie television programs actually meant something. Not like all the shit that's on today.
Ie. Politically correct and Americanized!🤑
Holds up well even today
Aussie Gold.
Great comedy duo for the time
I miss the 80s
I would go back to 80's or 90 's in a heartbeat
Brilliant!!!!!
Love it! Would love to see Glenn Robbins doing desk aerobics if anyone has it!
Wow she is absolutely gorgeous
That's Mary-Anne Fahey, who also played the character Kylie Mole in that series.
Glen hit the bottle a bit too hard last night. lolol
Lol ohhh love the passive aggression 😂❤ perfect
Is that Glenn Robbins and Maryanne Fahey?
Yes :)
Yes. I also liked their characters Shazza and Dazza, the nervous betrothed couple chatting in a car in the early hours of the morning.
"Throwing *UP* and down,
Throwing *UP* and down...
Are _you_ throwing up, Glenn?"
😂
OMG THIS HAS PLAY SCHOOL GONE WRONG ALL OVER IT!!! 😂😂😂😂
me and my friends love this!! omg
She is do funny

why is there ZERO on google about Beefer? :(
Glen predicted tic tok
So much classic
Interesting this came out the same year as Hale & Pace who did a VERY similar skit called "Billy & Johnny"
John & Noni.
Bray Wyatt would be proud!
when Australia only had 5 channel's
I think you mean when Australia actually had channels
Yes, and they weren't overrun by mindless repeats and life/funeral insurance commercials.

@TheAstrius Right again! I got pay-tv in November 1995. Foxtel is advertising like crazy these days because they're losing customers to Netflix.
Growing up we only had 2 channels here on the MNC of NSW. Now we have 35 free to air channels.
