I’ve loved seeing so many dresses being worn this summer. It’s certainly the year of 'the dress’. Therefore, as so many of you enjoy my street fashion videos, I decided to hit the streets of Marylebone and Kensington to enquire about this summer's dresses. I also got distracted in Kensington High Street by the organic food stalls, and I celebrate 27 years of wonderful anti-ageing skincare brand.

I find it so interesting and having people casually chat about their clothes, where they bought them, the joy they get from the encounter is really cool as well. Please do more of these! Myrtle's foggy bottom - hilarious!! How sweet of Felipe to protect her dignity. Yes Jo, I'll say it (again!), your skin is looking so good!
It is so funny to notice the difference between NYC reactions of the people on the street asked about their clothing and the english people reacting. Londoners often not even knowing where they bought their clothes. Haha! And all a bit shy, i love that!! It is as if NY people did rehearse mentioning all the brands of their clothing. Shoes and juwelry and bags included. Brands are not at all that important. It is so easy to buy expensive clothing when you have the money.
I myself tried the maxi dresses passed two years ( inspired by you, Jo- and so great looking on other women!!)..... but i know now i am definitely a trousers woman. Have a nice Sunday and regards from the Netherlands!

Hi Jo. Another great video! It’s always so lovely to see a sunny day in England and to see what the ladies fashions are in warm weather. I do like a dress but not a huge fan of the ‘Little House on the Prairie’ style dresses which are too feminine and flouncy for my taste. You’re looking great and I’m certain that your lovely comments to all the ladies you stopped made them feel a couple of inches taller! A compliment,however small,can make someone’s day. 💖🌸
Hello Jo, I watch every week but don’t often comment. My hubby and I lived in London from 2017 to 2019 and loved every minute. I emailed you once when I listened to you in the afternoons during that time. ( You read it on air). I so love seeing London through your eyes. We miss it every day. I love skirts and especially dresses, for their comfort, and wear them year-round (with tights or long socks and boots in winter. I usually only wear trousers when nothing else is appropriate, like for outdoor work, hiking, etc. Dresses are also so easy, one and done, and lengthening for my shorter body. I don’t know how skirts and dresses came to be automatically considered formal, most of mine are quite casual. They were the basic garment worn by women from time immemorial. Trousers and shorts, especially denim ones, are so uncomfortable!
Jo I used to wear my hair short, and I've grown it out in the past few years. I never thought of it as extreme, it's so easy to keep it neat.
I hope you take us with you to your brilliant hairdresser when it's time.

My Westie Macy gets so hot in the summer Jo. We thoroughly rinsed out a finished bottle of “method” antibacterial spray, filled it with water and keep it in the fridge. When she’s uncomfortably hot and panting a few spritz of the cool mist over her back really helps her.
My sundays always start with you. So no one’s served breakfast until I have watched you. As always wonderful ! Love Gigi !!

Funny how things work out! I was clicking through the radio stations looking for the test match coverage and noticed "Joe Good on radio London. I was an avid listener to Joe and others on that station before I moved to Lincoln 8 years ago but just seeing her name sparked my interest and then I found this......... I was waiting patiently for your vlog Jo, always great to see you and London. Unfortunately,here in Northern Ireland, we missed out on the heatwave,in fact,we miss out on quite a lot!! Sometimes it feels like we are just floating here, abandoned. In the early 60's when I was a child, a lovely family from London used to visit every summer in time for my birthday, needless to say,my gifts were special. Loved the vlog, Jo. Would love some more on what people are wearing in London. Have you ever tried filling a hot water bottle with water and putting it in the freezer and placing under a blanket for Murtle. My dog loves it when she gets warm.
