I'm just now seeing this in 2021. I can't believe there is really a place like this in the world. I love blue boxes... I almost cried seeing this. Damn.
I absolutely enjoyed watching this video today. The looks on you guys faces were mint. The old guy must be really proud of his Adidas heritage after owning that store for over 30 years. I have just viewed the video in which you all return to honour the deal you made to him. You guys returning face to face with handfuls of new products shows how much the first visit meant to you guys. You each make me very proud to be a lifelong fan of Adidas footwear and clothing. Thank you very much indeed.
Wow what a amazing film, I'd never seen this before. And what a collection, because that's not really a shop, he's a collector. The amazing Carlos with his life's work! 👏
I have a passion with retro sneakers and i started to collecting but later i saw a few of them fallin apart. It was heartbreaking and i stopped collecting them and trying to wear each pair cause want to enjoy them.
I'm 42 this year got my first pair of Adidas aged 14 from a shop in Osnabruck on a German exchange with school. A pair of black campus. The shops then were like sports direct now nowt fancy, nothing flash it wasn't destroyed by fashion victims like today. Those European type stores are the thing of dreams now, boxes and boxes of stock just stacked up no bells or fuck all, a shoplifting paradise
Must be the only shop owner who doesn't really want to make a sale because he loves his products so much haha :) Very cool video, captured the moment and the emotions nicely as well.
What they don't mention is that those shoes were made in Argentina. I grew up in Bolivia in the 80;s and although you can also get the German product most of my friends would prefer the Argentinian because of the quality of the leather and some twist they made to the original design. Now we have Chinese and Vietnamese crap that you throw away after a couple of months use.
Adidas utopia and of all places in South America, I'd expect to find it in the Philippines or Vietnam maybe, get the rubber glue out and do not sniff it, this is not the 1970s ! ! N/B I did spot a few pairs I've had, ZX360s, and I still have three ZXs and seven pairs of Adidas trainers altogether today, in my lifetime I think I've had about 60 pairs, maybe more,
Wonderful video Thank you In memorian of Cocaro Deportes in the quarter of Saavedra and Marraco Sport of Nuñez City Official sponsor of the eighties kids in BA

so carlos is basically a hoarder and you took his shit :D seriously though if hes a store why would he say enough why not sell everything .isnt that why he has a shop? cant say i fully understand why he still has all this stock has he been turning people down for 30 years when they try to buy something ,,could be a league of gentleman character
They forgot to put the subtitles in Spanish.....a real shame. They left out many users who don't speak your language, a bit discriminatory from my point of view. Greetings 🇦🇷
This short is a evidence of a group of people that take away only for money what its important and special for an old guy, so terrible, the three guys doesnt show any empathy
Michael Williams Nor do you. Who is crying in the end? Definitely not the bunch of Europeans with a van full of vintage stuff. You think they would send at least four people to Argentina if there would not be a huge opportunity to buy collectibles for small money?
langfingerli Did you even watch the video. The guy who's owns the shop didn't strike me as someone who would be easily mugged off. If he felt he wasn't getting a fair price, he wouldn't have sold them, simple as. Also the people who have gone to Argentina aren't con men, they are guys who have a huge appreciation for Adidas and the brand, basically Adidas geeks. I think you have got it spectacularly wrong on this occasion I'm afraid.
langfingerli i think carlos would be insulted that you think hes just a little idiot ready to be taken advantage of ! He knows what time it is .... there is a much bigger story behind him, learn the full story before u make comments you sound sad
No thay didn't. They brought it to Europe, to show to all adidas fans. Thay have made a tribute to Carlos pair, and they camme back to Carlos to say biggest "Thank You"!

I feel for Carlos, he seemed a nice fella, with nothing else left than his love of Adidas.
I hope you paid him handsomely at the very least.
Calm down mate

best of the video: the english man using the Argentina´s shirt. England+Argentina: one love!

I like your comment Adan. There are things in this world like love, art, sports, healthy passions that make all the borders and boundaries fade away.
Adán Chaile adan, i agree. soy argentino.
A classy comment Adán, fair play.

No me canso de sorprender del argentino. Pese a todo lo que se vive día a día te da orgullo haber nacido en estas tierras.
This is a museum!!!
At least you should take the store owner to the spezial exhibition.Do you realize is pretty much EVERYTHING he has left right?

Anyone who knows anything about WW2 knows exactly why old Carlos loves this German Brand with 3 Stripes so much.
Why would you connect a lover of Adidas merchandise with Nazi war criminals ?
Does anyone know if the store is still open ?
¿Alguien sabe si la tienda sigue abierta?

You just came in and took everything that this old guy has in one day. it's kind of terrible really.
That wasn't the case. The guy clearly wasn't a push over. They said that he told them 'no' when they'd bought enough. And it is a shop after all...
TJ Wells True but why do you think he had to say no?

The only goal was to find the most valuable pieces and pay him next to nothing in return. You were not interested in the story at all. Shame on you.
Don't be so fucking cynical. You don't know anything about the discussions or what took place!
