Thank you for your work! I found your channel and am binge watching this weekend because I want to make sure my fur friends live the best life possible.
Long before we ever heard that giving your dog avocado was harmful (over 20yrs ago).... We had a dog that loved avocados & on our property we had a huge avocado tree. We couldn't keep up with eating them or giving away so we'd just let them drop off.... Muffin, our old avocado loving dog, would eat them whole.... Yes all the skin, stone & flesh! She lived to be 18yrs old & died of old age 💖
One I would like to add, only because it would have saved us a trip to the vet had we known. Lemon tree leaves & this actually applies to any citrus trees. My 4 yr old frenchie ate just few leaves off a small lemon tree that I keep in a pot. It had him foaming at the mouth and down for days. Thankfully we got him into the vet in time and with no long term damage.
Thanks for the information ❤ I would like to know about vanilla and peppermint ,cause there are dog toothpaste and dog food that has vanilla flavor or peppermint extract but i have worried about the safety. Thanks ❤
Désolée pour mes questions, ton travail me passionne 😁🤩❤🔥
We found out that Avocado's don't kill dogs when we got a new puppy. We have an Avocado tree in our yard and I told my husband it needed to be cut down because I had heard the kill dogs. My puppy who was 12 weeks old at the time found an Avocado before my husband cut down the tree and he ate it without an issue. He didn't eat the pit and I assume that is what is toxic. In the past we had a dog who ate an entire Cadbury fruit and nut bar without having an issue, she was a border collie/lab cross. I rushed her to the vet who said that some dogs don't have an issue with chocolate but some dogs have severe issues. I'm wondering if some of these things that are "toxic" to dogs might actually be an allergy to the food versus it actually be harmful. You know just like some people can eat peanuts yet others will die from it. We try to keep anything on the list of "toxic" foods away from our boy, but I no longer panic if he takes a sample from our garden.
Can you please do a video on pancreatitus? And what can be fed and what not. They are telling me he can only have low fat royal canin food. I need more holistic whole food recipe in case I can't get the "special" food. Thank you
@elizagoodytwoshoes9140 I was going to learn how to feed with whole food slightly cooked diet before this happened....now my fear that i will do something wrong has only severely magnified....but at the same time I am sick feeding him the royal canin. I guess I will have to do a ton more research. Thanks for the dr. Judy recommendations. If by Chance you would be willing to share a quick breakdown of your regular recipe it would be greatly appreciated. If not thanks either way!
Can you cook the garlic into their food and still get the benefits? This is my current recipe. 3 lb. of ground turkey 1 lb. of grass-fed ground beef ½ lb. of beef or chicken heart ½ lb. of beef or chicken liver 4 pasture raised eggs 1 cup of organic blueberries ¼ to ½ cup of a mixture of organic baby spinach kale & chard already cooked 1 can of organic pumpkin 1 cup cooked sweet potato ¾ cup of chopped broccoli or broccoli slaw (organic if possible) 2 - carrots 1 cup of oatmeal cooked in 3 cups of water 3 cans of sardines in water & no salt added 1 TBSP powdered Dog Greens powder (or Wheatgrass, Kelp, or Spirulina powder) 2 teaspoons of seaweed calcium for dogs 2 -3 teaspoons of Organic Turmeric ½ tsp Taurine added to their food bowl, not in this cooked mix In a big pot on the stove, I put the liver, heart & spinach in the food processor & pulse it until it is in little chunks. I add this along with the ground turkey & hamburger. After this mixture is nearly cooked, I add the 4 eggs that I have already scrambled & stir constantly until it is mixed in good so there are no egg pieces. While this is cooking on the lowest setting now, I chop the broccoli in the food processor & add that to the mix. I drain the water from the sardines & add them to the mix after it's cooked as the sardines are already cooked.
@elizagoodytwoshoes9140 Thank you!! I do give them raw hamburger on occasion. I just haven't been able to switch over to completely Raw due to the controversy I am learning, though, by watching videos like these.
@@elizagoodytwoshoes9140oh please elaborate on the drumsticks for dogs! Those bones are ok? I have a 150 pound great pyranees that would love them and it would sure help me provide him an affordable raw diet! Thank you and God bless you ☺️🙏
@elizagoodytwoshoes9140 I add three cans of sardines to the food that I'm currently making for them. It's a week's worth for breakfast and dinner. Thanks for the tips.
60lb pit bull rescue had gotten into a bowl of macadamia nuts maybe 1-3 nuts don’t recall him having any immediate reactions. Curious if it’s something that they will passed within 24 to 48 hours or stays in their system for life?
35 cloves a day…they were concerned about their research that they published the research…..really..what scientist(s) bozo Thought they needed to see if garlic was toxic to dogs….so they decided to give them a ungodly amount and then become “concerned” about their findings…

I saw an ad recently peddling the garlic myth, it just won’t die in some quarters.
No it will not, even when the regulatory bodies say it’s safe!

Unfortunately this is a bit outside of our knowledge base, but check out Dr. Judy Morgan who has all sorts of recipes for various ailments!

3 lb. of ground turkey
1 lb. of grass-fed ground beef
½ lb. of beef or chicken heart
½ lb. of beef or chicken liver
4 pasture raised eggs
1 cup of organic blueberries
¼ to ½ cup of a mixture of organic baby spinach kale & chard already cooked
1 can of organic pumpkin
1 cup cooked sweet potato
¾ cup of chopped broccoli or broccoli slaw (organic if possible)
2 - carrots
1 cup of oatmeal cooked in 3 cups of water
3 cans of sardines in water & no salt added
1 TBSP powdered Dog Greens powder (or Wheatgrass, Kelp, or Spirulina powder)
2 teaspoons of seaweed calcium for dogs
2 -3 teaspoons of Organic Turmeric
½ tsp Taurine added to their food bowl, not in this cooked mix
