I think the diamond select did the best job in capturing the look of the homecoming spiderman adding the fact that the shoulders are not so broaden a bit in the feminine side which makes sense cause peter is just 15 or 16 in civil war and homecoming, really captures the look of a teen.

ActionMan27 his whole legs are not the greatest, but sculptors that working in DS obviously very talented. When I look on this figure, I see a young man with correct muscle proportions. I don't have that feeling holding any import figures. They looks like kids in Halloween suits.

Oh! I had seen that Spidey Ah Figuarts broke up from this part, Damn! I hope you have been able to fix it. I agree with the Mezco and Mafex versions, the firts with stetic and the second with the articulation.
Mafex for me, with the Marvel Legend one being a very close second. Mafex always kills it on their Spider-Man figures. I also consider the unmasked head to be an absolute must have. The Mafex unmasked head looks better. The Marvel Legend one is good also, just way too big for the figure and really the line in general (also wish I hadn't had to buy the figure twice just to get it). Still love it though. I'm not a fan of the Mezco figures at all. I don't like the cloth goods. It hinders the articulation, and I'm always afraid it's going to come apart. The S.H. Figuarts one is decent, and IMO fits in better with the Marvel Legends than the actual Marvel Legends one (Tom Holland is really short!), but they are so prone to breakage that I tend to avoid getting them in general. Good list.

Seto Kaiba I don’t know about always, but their newer Spider-Man figures are very good. This homecoming one, the comic Spider-Man is great, and based on promo images we can assume the miles morales and infinity war iron spider figures will be good. And the mafex iron spider already seems to have topped the figurats and it’s not even out yet. Mafex homecoming and infinity war have similar articulation/body structure. Figuarts also has similar body structure between the two movies and as we’ve seen from this video the mafex body is better. Plus the mafex infinity war figure got the colors of the suit right.
I got the SHF when it first released, and and I think it's really great. I didn't bother getting the Mafex since I liked it so much, but I did per-order the Mafex 1.5 version. I don't have that weird floating belt on the SHF, at least no where near as bad as you seem to have it, and it's kept pretty sturdy for me since I got it almost 2 years ago. Plus I really like that you can interchange the eyes to get more expression out of the figure, something that no other company offers.

Totally was hoping someone was gonna do a video of all these homecoming Spidey’s!! So glad u did this! I’m in the same boat with u about the Mafex and Mezco 10000%!! I can’t stop playing with the Mafex version and he’s DEF in my top 10 figs in my collection as well (to a point where I bought a second one to have for when the one I’m playing with gets too loose! Lol!). For me, personally, I think my Figuarts would’ve been third amongst these 5, I really enjoy him and the quality (albeit the waist snapping off...that happened to mine as well, but got him replaced and have not had any problems since!) and feel to him is so good (Figuarts always feels so good in hand!). Mezco feels really good in hand and his articulation is smooth as butter but same as u, I’m afraid that pleather material will crack or just shred too. Anyway, awesome channel and awesome reviews, keep it up homie! ✊🏽✌🏽👍🏽💯💯

I don't own any MCU spideys, but I do have the Mafex Homecoming 2.0 on preorder. Looking forward to getting it. I was pretty close to getting the Mezco one for $30 with store credit, but backed out after thinking about the possible flaking of the suit

1:32 looks like you were over extending the lower hinge joint at the waist, leading to paint rub from the lower waist and breakage. Man that sucks... that's why I inspect and look at the joints before moving them. Hope you were able to get a replacement because it's a pretty cool figure. Are you getting the PS4 Spider-Man Figuarts from Tamashii? I have it and it's a dope figure, just needs better shoulder articulation. I hope they get rid of the shoulder set up for their Spider-Man figures because it doesn't let you move the arms straight up and they also could use a bicep swivel as well. cool video!
Yeah. Personally, It annoys me because it looks like he’s surprised or scared and he doesn’t have a normal head either. He only has that one with the squinting eyes which looks like he’s angry.
I had the one with the backpack, couldn't move it though, like, if you touched it, it would fall apart, so I just put it in a position and used it just for display purposes and never touched it. About half a year later I bought the same figure again, and it had the same flaws, it legit would fall apart it you touch it, so I sent it back, and got another one, but it had the same problems again, that's where I just gave up on the figure. And just so you know, I didn't buy them from any other person, they were brand new, still on packaging and everything

I find it best NOT to force my figures into extreme poses & I also try and assess the engineering of a figure BEFORE pushing the joints to their limits. It makes me whince in others videos seeing their rough handling of a figure on camera & anticipate a breakge ! That said - I've had some expensive figures break on me without any undue pressure or even broken joints right out of the box ! Marvel Legends are THE sturdiest of the lot but sometimes lack the paint / sculpt, though still the best bang for buck. I waited and only bought the MAFEX Homecoming Spiderman, even though a big SHF collector, but the Mafex was far better, as per your review. I ALWAYS wish Marvel Select were in a 6 inch scale, even if that mean they compete head on with ML.
Nice review. I like the Mezco Spider-Man too, you can put Spidey into a lot of poses and he won’t break on you like yours did (sorry). I have the Marvel Legends Spider-Man/Iron Man 2 pack, they are great figures and are holding up well. I look forward to the new batch of Spidey figures from Far From Home.
I’ve noticed a similar quality problem with some of the other Figuarts from other lines I own, most of the figures I have are Dragon Ball Z Figuarts and I have one Street Fighter one (the Chun-Li one.) Luckily none of mine have actually broke, but the neck joint on my Dragon Ball Super Future Trunks figure is loose and will sometimes move out of place when trying to swap the heads, the arms on my Dragon Ball Z Cell Saga Trunks are very loose, and the neck joint on my SSGSS Goku (the version from the Broly movie) is much looser than the one on my DBZ Super Saiyan Goku (the Awakening version) though not to the extent that the Trunks one is. My Android 21 Figuarts has a similar problem at the waist to the Spider-Man because of the loose belt piece, but luckily I’ve been able to avoid breaking her thus far and I’ve had her for about two months. As always, your reviews are great and I definitely agree that the Mafex is superior. If only I could afford one 😅

The first spiderman homecoming figure you showed, it's like my figure, the body falls everytime off
1:32 looks like you were over extending the lower hinge joint at the waist, leading to paint rub from the lower waist and breakage. Man that sucks... that's why I inspect and look at the joints before moving them. Hope you were able to get a replacement because it's a pretty cool figure. Are you getting the PS4 Spider-Man Figuarts from Tamashii? I have it and it's a dope figure, just needs better shoulder articulation. I hope they get rid of the shoulder set up for their Spider-Man figures because it doesn't let you move the arms straight up and they also could use a bicep swivel as well. cool video!

Yeah. Personally, It annoys me because it looks like he’s surprised or scared and he doesn’t have a normal head either. He only has that one with the squinting eyes which looks like he’s angry.

I had the one with the backpack, couldn't move it though, like, if you touched it, it would fall apart, so I just put it in a position and used it just for display purposes and never touched it.
About half a year later I bought the same figure again, and it had the same flaws, it legit would fall apart it you touch it, so I sent it back, and got another one, but it had the same problems again, that's where I just gave up on the figure. And just so you know, I didn't buy them from any other person, they were brand new, still on packaging and everything

Thanks for your good comprehensive & informative review ! Sad to see you break your SHF ... did you end up fixing the joint ? I find it best NOT to force my figures into extreme poses & I also try and assess the engineering of a figure BEFORE pushing the joints to their limits. It makes me whince in others videos seeing their rough handling of a figure on camera & anticipate a breakge ! That said - I've had some expensive figures break on me without any undue pressure or even broken joints right out of the box ! Marvel Legends are THE sturdiest of the lot but sometimes lack the paint / sculpt, though still the best bang for buck. I waited and only bought the MAFEX Homecoming Spiderman, even though a big SHF collector, but the Mafex was far better, as per your review. I ALWAYS wish Marvel Select were in a 6 inch scale, even if that mean they compete head on with ML.

Nice review. I like the Mezco Spider-Man too, you can put Spidey into a lot of poses and he won’t break on you like yours did (sorry). I have the Marvel Legends Spider-Man/Iron Man 2 pack, they are great figures and are holding up well. I look forward to the new batch of Spidey figures from Far From Home.

where did you get that marvel legends spiderman homecoming figure from and how much was it
I’ve noticed a similar quality problem with some of the other Figuarts from other lines I own, most of the figures I have are Dragon Ball Z Figuarts and I have one Street Fighter one (the Chun-Li one.) Luckily none of mine have actually broke, but the neck joint on my Dragon Ball Super Future Trunks figure is loose and will sometimes move out of place when trying to swap the heads, the arms on my Dragon Ball Z Cell Saga Trunks are very loose, and the neck joint on my SSGSS Goku (the version from the Broly movie) is much looser than the one on my DBZ Super Saiyan Goku (the Awakening version) though not to the extent that the Trunks one is. My Android 21 Figuarts has a similar problem at the waist to the Spider-Man because of the loose belt piece, but luckily I’ve been able to avoid breaking her thus far and I’ve had her for about two months.
As always, your reviews are great and I definitely agree that the Mafex is superior. If only I could afford one 😅
