Today I’m going to be sharing with you how to make the best chicken taco salad bowl, it’s seriously sooo delicious, now there’s is many ways to fry your tortilla, this was I’d the easiest and safest way to do it , now if you don’t want no oil at all on your tortilla, you can make them in the over but let me tell you it’s not going to be the same at all, the oil makes it flaky and crunchy! 😭😅 keep in mind like every recipe and every household there are tons of variations that make this delicious recipe, you can always adjust it to your taste, I really hope you enjoy it as much as me and my family do, and as always if you do please forget to give me a big thumbs up, comment down below your thoughts and if you new to my channel please hit that subscribe button so you can be part of our family!!!!!! 😘

Ingredients:
Extra large flour tortillas
Oil
2lbs chicken breast or ground beef
2 chipotle peppers and 1 tbsp of adobo sauce
1/4 white onion
1 minced garlic clove
2 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp black pepper
Salt
Red Rice:
1 cup white rice
1 can tomato sauce
1 3/4 cups water
1 tbsp chicken bouillon
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
Toppings:(optional)
Lettuce
Sour cream
Guacamole
Pico de gallo
Shredded cheese
Jalapeño
Restaurant style salsa

Refried beans would turn it into a slop. If anything a whole bean but this way it is light and clean. You dont want carb overload.

Thank you for this video! I followed your instructions and made a very delicious bowl with my own little touch. I didn’t get a chance to make the rice because I ran out of tomato sauce but will make the rice soon.

A taco salad is better with beans instead of rice because you already have your carbs from the tortilla. You don't even need to shallow fry the tortilla. Instead, spray it very well with a cooking spray then bake it in the oven.
