I think after the draft you should see other teams' draft picks too (like in Madden) to see if there was a generational talent. You could also check other players that you were hesitant on taking, but chose to go different way (for example Ronald Banks drafted later by Orioles).

Imo it really helps too pay attention to what types of pitches the pitcher throws, and then focus on the direction they’ll go. So if someone throws a 4 seam, Cutter, Curveball, the ball can only come either; fast and straight, fast and to the left/right based on throwing handedness, or slow and straight down. If it’s your first year ever of MLB the show honestly hitting is gonna be hard af, also zooming the hitting camera in helps. Sorry if that’s too much to read but hope it helps ✌🏻
