You were right not to trade MJ, but to go through with the Spencer Trade. Wacha isn’t getting any younger, and you can always move MJ to Catcher and have Spencer in the field

I love how Bengal talks about the guys that he drafted that need 3-4 years of development before even making an MLB roster, as if this series is gonna last more than 2 or 3 total seasons
i don’t think that’ll be the case this year. i think he chose the Royals for that reason. I think he wants to win a title in 3-5 years and have them setup to run baseball in simulation world
@@NathanRhwmf nah, he’ll stop uploading this as much once madden comes out. He’ll still upload some, but it’ll definitely fall off and end after a couple seasons

he will stop in July when ncaa comes out
something i recommend is go to sliders under settings and turn down sim trade frequency at the bottom i usually go one above the lowest, it really helps teams actually keep some of their prospects because at default there’s like 50+ trades a year most for big players and or propects

What about using zone hitting with zoom camera, could nerf you a little bit and make the games a little more entertaining cause we get to see your skill a little bit.

I would love to see you trade for Hurston Waldrep. I think he would eventually make a great piece for your rotation. Could also be a great bullpen arm
Might not be a bad idea to look at free agents mid season if you have a bad hole that needs fixed and don't have any mlb ready prospects. Could check it for younger prospects who maybe didn't sign with a team as well, can't remember when they show up
I think Gorman should play 3B and Garcia 2B since Garcia was a middle infielder when he came up and Gorman was a 3B only originally
Gorman is slower and has the lesser arm

I'm sure you get used to it, but wow do I hate the font this year. I never really noticed it before, but with you scrolling through stats more than usual, I realized just how difficult it is to read the stat boosts. Great episode!

The trade logic in this damn game lol why in gods name would the cubbies trade there number 1 prospect 1 for 1 with another prospect predicted to be not as good lol I really wish the trade logic would get an overhaul In this game. It would be nice to see real logic out into buyer/seller trades happening

As a huge royals fan it is very refreshing to see someone do a franchise with them. Usually it’s just me trying to bring them up lol keep it up, very fun series
MJ to catcher (when Salvy is done) and Spencer Jones can slide right in.
here i don’t mind, but IRL Freddy Fermin is gonna be the man. might be better defensively than Salvy some day but his bat is a little questionable at mlb level

Spencer jones will get moved to 1B .. he def won’t be a center .. I say that becuase rizzo is up in age & it’ll be his best chance to get called up
Jones may not be a CF but I'm not sure he gets moved to 1B, he's got pretty good speed. Outfield of Jones/Dominguez/Judge in 2 years feels like a real possibility
Easier said that done to move to 1B even though we generally consider that to be the easiest position
You should try gilley at second. He has that as a secondary and a lower arm

Royals fan here, I get it's for fun lol and it's possible in the game, but as someone who's watched MJ Catch, you're better off keeping him in the outfield... it's rough
@6:55 look at close at the player when doing rookie contracts.(bonus demand) You're giving them money based of the selection and not what the player wants. 9/10 times the player is asking FOR LESS than the slot.

Honestly it’d be cool towards the end of baseball season before you start with madden again to sim the team a few years to be able to actually play with the prospects you drafted. I felt like you got some good draft picks in reds franchise and never got to use them.

You should do directional hitting that way it still relates to the hitting attributes but you can also have a little more control
