- This another SNES track recreated. This time, it's not just Death Wind...it's both Death Wind I and Death Wind II together in the same track. What the result came to be was a very long track.

Wow... It's both Death Wind I and II fused perfectly well. The undertrack is Death Wind I and the over track is Death Wind II. Very creative.
Very clever way of implementing the track(s). Well done.

The riff on that guitar on the main course is amazing.
Death wind is just flawless, I wish they had brought back that track in GX
And that's why F-Zero games (let alone racing games) should never come without a track editor.
Lightning is located on the same planet as Death Wind iirc
@@fzerowipeoutlover Green Plant. According to the lore, Devil's Forest/Green Plant are the non-windy opposite half of the planet which Death Wind is on. All three venues take place on the same, unnamed planet. Half of the planet is windy, the other half isn't.
Could you imagine wind in GX. God that would be brutal but the venue would slap. Lovely recreation

I think the main reason this track was never made was due to its gimmick. The wind always blows in the same direction which could make the course extremely complicated and difficult with the more complex tracks in x and gx since it wouldnt be just a flat course anymore

F-Zero 99 is 3D. It's just that it's made to look 2D. There ya go lol, except it's not what you're looking for.
looks nice but i would absolutely dread having to race on that course again
