Actually is not a trick. Is a famous and legendary Cinesaddle. Best support for holding stable shooting, avoiding the pendulum of Easyrig. I use every day.

Love the video, I agree with everything said. I'm personally a big fan of the LF because i'm an AC and taking this cards out of the mini sucks so i love the slot on the side of the LF!

hey it was a small gig, my AC had a nucleus M and it performed quite well, considering the price!

Shooting weddings on a Mini LF? A common thing in Hong Kong?
Nah i was trying to be funny .. but apparently not
It's incorrect to state that you can not put an EF mount on the LF. The regular EF mount from the mini goes straight on the LF and many lenses cover the sensor. I use Leica R stills lenses with my LF and also Canon stills lenses etc. Worth researching and testing more carefully before making incorrect statements.
Hey mate sorry you are correct. But there are actually a new EF mount for Mini LF only which I have just bought - "We have received guidance from ARRI that the form factor, screw-hole locations, and other dimensions of the mount interface on the ALEXA Mini LF are the same as on the ALEXA Mini. However, due to the design of the original mounts, such as the Canon EF mount, some vignetting may be observed when the ALEXA Mini LF is shot in Open Gate 4.5K mode.""

I am sorry, didn't pay attention to the volume at all. Stupid me.
I don't see the point of a videographer to actually buy these cameras. An Ursa, with a BMPCC 4k as a b-cam would do just fine. If you know how to color grade, the two are indistinguishable to the Arri or RED, and the little difference in DR won't be visible 99% of the time. You said yourself that you're out of work, so I'd suggest you get rid of all that frivolous stuff, sell them, and go smaller. No one in the corporate world would know the difference, or see a visual difference. You won't lose jobs just because you don't show up with an ARRI.
I was out of work due to the CCP virus but it's all good now. I own a production house as well as a small equipment rental house so there is a reason why I own two Alexas and tons of other cameras.
This is not correct. The blackmagic is not indistinguishable to the Arri and Red. There's a reason why most cinematographers shoot Arri. The dynamic range is also often clearly visible, particularly in the highlights. I agree that most in the corporate world won't notice the difference however. But if you are a cinematographer shooting music videos, branded content, short films, passion projects, low budget features etc... there is a difference.

@@starnutron6147 I know all about ARRI. I just don't see the point of spending $50k when a $2k camera can tell a story even better a blockbuster could tell it 20 years ago shot on film. People are going too crazy about hardware and forget to tell a story.
