The brig haters are weird af, I'm a brig and rein main and I've played since overwatch 1's release. I'll end with most healing, most damage, and a shitton of mitigation and saves and somehow I still have people tell me to swap off brig as if the problem isn't that we have 2 dps with 1k damage lmao Shes great at diving, defending so your tank doesn't need to peel as much, and shes an amazing duelist, and by god she has so many animation cancels, I'm able to kill moiras before they can even react and fade away lmao, her burst potential is scary.
This is pretty good stuff. I got into Brig during season 2 and I got into a rythm. The thing that's kinda important to know with supports in particular is that sometimes your problems are the enemy (not always generally but still), your team, or yourself. Are their times I might change heroes? Yes, but that's usually if I'm not able to survive based on two of the problems I mentioned before. A Pharah or Echo scares me more as Ana with a team not suited to fighting a flyer than as Brig in the same situation. Brig can dash, block, and if able trigger inspire with a whipshot. Ana can sleep (if they can land the shot), nade herself, and walk back to the hospital.
Brig is underrated. In different metas than what we've had in season 1 & 2 she would be doing fine. One of her biggest problems is how hard she gets shut down and how hopeless it feels to stare at a pharmercy, get run over by a 14 wheeler rizzmattra/shiny cow being speed boosted by funny frogman or watch the enemy hog running wild. Let alone that apex copy paste character that farms your shield only to a**blast you the instant it goes down.
I play brig quite a lot rn, mostly koth maps, and she crushes lobbies. I regularly have the most healing by a large margin and often get more DPS/kills than the rest of the lobby. She plays koth maps basically like an off tank, but with healing
... and the healing of her repair packs was nerfed from ow1 to ow2. and ofc healing tanks rewards less ult charge in ow2 (which is also a nerf to hog's breather btw)
@@realchiknuggets Her whip is still pretty oppressive. She can effectly remove short range characters from combat and she can disrupt dives. Not to mention that bash is used to proc inspire from safety. Her ult is pretty bad though, ngl
I love Brig, she's my favourite support; I just struggle to hit her whipshot consistently enough to justify playing her. If I have to really support-carry a game, I usually have to swap to Moira (don't hate) from her, especially if we're getting DPS-diffed.
Yeah hitting her whipshot can be a hassle sometimes but it has a short cooldown atleast, and moira is one of the strongest supports so no need to be ashamed of playing her 😊
Her healing (IF PPL ARE AROUND HER) is actually really strong; 50hp per sec (repair pack) which stack with her inspire (15hp per sec) for a total of 65hp per sec for 6s. Which is more than most support aside from Ana.
Brig is honestly my favorite support rn bcz she’s a great comfort pick for me. I’ve been having a really bad day.. week and that translates over to my gameplay. I started playing worse but then I get good after a bit but lose bcz teammates make a mistake. It just takes a big toll on you when you’re trying your best on lucio or zen (my mains) just to lose in the end bcz of something you could’ve played better in a good mindset or bcz of someone else’s mistake. Brig is just a comfort pick. Relaxing to play as you don’t have to try all hard with her and in the end if you lose that’s ok bcz at least you did your job of healing, surviving, and poking without trying so hard killing your mental. Brig is honestly like therapy. Love this character even if she’s the worst support in the game. Not much anymore but still.
I never played Brigitte. I didn't know how to and I wasn't interested until the launch of OW 2. I have to say, she's really fun to play and easy to learn. Definitely a really nice pick in the right hands as you said! I've heard she'll get a rework, I'm just praying... Blizz please don't ruin our loved Brig.
As a master Brig player i'd say there is no worst support, every support is just different. Brig is pretty universal, only pharah counters her really hard. But in Master+ there are not many pharahs so usually i can play Brig every match and make huge impact. Also little tip: dont think ure invincible in ult, u just get overheal buff, anyway its not effected by ana's nade or JQ's ult so it can save ur mates
Aaaand follow. When I watched this video I thought it had like 20.000 views or more because it was really well done. If you keep it up I sure you will be there soon :D
How to make Brig a real support: get rid of shield bash (without stun it's a meme), give her 50 more HP, 200 more shield health, E changed: Charge! - give allies a boost of move speed and attack speed for a short duration. New ult: Flail flurry - Brig spins her mace around her for a short duration, knocking back enemies hit by it, procing her passive and reducing damage taken by 50%.
omg it’s such a coincidence i get this video recommended to me as i was literally playing brig for the first time in a long time literally yesterday (i had to play her for a challenge) i never really played her bc i felt like she was “too easy” and also just not a great healer. but when i was playing her yesterday i realized she’s actually not as bad as everyone thinks she is PLUS she’s actually really fun to play. but i will agree, she is probably the worst support in overwatch but has potential if you can put her to good use.
With the new buffs she's quite strong. If you can hit whip shot on cooldown her passive can have giga up time and you can seriously do a ton of healing. Her armor packs have some pathetic cool downs though so if you miss a whip shot with no armor you're just gonna feel bad. I definitely think she's good enough to be played I think your largest hurdle are the absolute turbo babies who cry when you pick her. But I have friends so this isn't a problem for me thankfully.
Bro, your vids should have more views seriously I'm already average with basically every hero but you inspired me to spend some more time on some of them :)
Thats why u play around corners, in cover or in the backlines and go for picks the majority of the time. The shield is for when you wanna go for bigger plays with your teams help
She's such a blast, favorite support. I like the mix of passive healing and the big fat SLAP heals of repair pack. The shield bash is crazy good movement for engage, disengage, or peel. And of course slapping MF's around will ALWAYS feel amazing. Nice video, people need to be aware she isn't a trash pick.
It depends and in some brigitte matches I had on Comp some will say No Brig which forces me to run a baptiste if my brother takes over he ends up replacing Brigitte with Mercy.
I have 300+ hours on Brig… yea I know. But anyway, she’s really good in the right hands. She’s my clutch whenever we’re losing. As long as a hard counter isn’t on the field I can play her effectively. Especially if the other support is a heavy healer like Mercy, Moira, Ana (with aim), etc. quite honestly I average about 10-11k healing per 10 on her. It’s a mix of being being aggressive (to keep up inspire) and knowing when and how to disengage. She’s not the powerhouse she used to be but she’s still useful for sure.
I’ve been making the same analogy recently about the paladin in WoW 🤣 shield bash is kinda kinda warrior charge or intercept, but passive healing and repair packs gives the pala vibe. She’s like a cool mix between the two, so glad I saw someone else who realized this 😅
A good thing to know is that Brigs heal cannot stack so you throw a health pack at a teammate wait til its done then throw another if they are insanely low but make sure to prioritize the team members you know will need them
I know they want to keep stuns only on tanks, but maybe shield bash could cause the enemy to pop in the air for a second so they're exposed for attack but not stunned so they can use fade or boop or something to try and save themselves.
Awesome Video ! I would suggest setting the fov a bit higher. 1. Its personally more enjoyable watching gameplay. 2. It gives more Information while playing because of the increased field of view.
when it comes to healing per second it might be the worst, but the AOE.... WOOO apparently Brig's inspire range is the same size as Ilios Well's control point. THAT is a big range
My favourite brig moment was dueling a doomfist for 2 minutes straight in a push map. I just kept smacking him and when he punched I stunned us both. I was playing with a bronze friend tho so I think it was a bronze tank.
Yeah: spoiler alert, Brig is still VERY strong in the right scenarios. Brig’s strongest asset is whipshot. The ability to deny Winston, DVa, Ball, or Doom coordinated dives with a well timed whipshot, while it is on a shorter Cooldown than most of their movement tools, allows her to act as a bodyguard, protecting a vulnerable target while using the absurd ranges of inspire (20m) and repair pack (30m) to keep her spaced out team alive. While a lot of new players may have learned about Goats, a triple tank triple support comp with Brig as a key player, one of the later metas featured Ball, Zen, Brig, Tracer, Sombra and DVa iirc. Brig’s underrated healing kept this team comp alive, while threatening and driving off threats from Zen, whose discord orb allowed the hyper mobile ball tracer and Sombra to delete enemies they chose.
To be honest Brig it’s an awesome support, one hand she can heal a lot if you keep hitting someone with inspire… and get tons of mitigation if you play like a bodyguard for your other support and/or dps. For me Zen and Brig are top picks for me
Brig is incredibly fun and also absolutely strong. Stay alive like any support, inspire uptime is important but not everything, she is a defensive hero so play cautious, and identify your job when playing brig. Do you have a vulnerable character like widow or ana or zen? You are their bodyguard or an extension of their reach. Otherwise playing with your tank is typically what you can do. I love to play with hog, sigma, rein, and junkerqueen. Ramattra is decent also but he typically is a heal guzzler so only if you have either a good ramattra or a good second support are you typically able to. Protect your tank and enable them. Use rally selfishly but be aware you are only a tank in that you have high sustain you are still a squishy so be aware of one shots like Junkrat especially, think of it like a taunt ability also, it's dangerous to use because they will attempt to kill you to shut you down depending on if they have good burst damage characters. Also use that shield more and don't let it break.
Being a support player myself. I always love having a brig on my team. Because I can play Lucio (July favourite support) and we can hold w and win. I'm also trying to get my brig skill better also
I'm in lower ranks so people are still learning to aim. So when ball, Winston or another diver jumps on my team and our tank is doomfist or blind, I switch to brig to be a backline support. The second I do that, I get told to switch off brig. But end up making an actual difference instead of dying every spawn.
I pray for two things to buff Brig: one, give her back some cc on shield bash in the absence of stun, and increase her survivability a little bit more. those couples changes would be huge
80% of the time I have more heals on Brig than at least 2 supports in a game. In OW1 that percentage was around 40% I think. And I still miss her shield bash stun... She is also my favorite support to play as(because she is very enjoyable to play) but I understand that she is very situative and most likely it is better to pick another supp
personally the only support i really like is brig, my squad usually will main all the others healers so i chose brig since shes always free. i pick support less than 10% of my playing but my win percentage is 92% with her. then again i only have 25hrs currently. shes extremely fun though
She definitely has the most dynamic support gameplay, maybe other than lucio. You can actually frontline, flank, and weave in and out of fights unlike most other supports that just stay in the backline. Her and lucio are my go to supports when I don't wanna just heal bot all game LOL
Her and Lucio definitely have a more unique playstyle than most supports for sure. I'm not that great with Lucio though So Kiriko is my go to usually :)
As a Brig main who changed his account name to SAVEBRIG back when she was getting hard nerfed because of GOATS meta, feels good to see others finally saying shes the worst support. Strong if your good, but so is any character
ah i remember maining mercy when everyone was saying she was bad, then s3 came along and you know what they did? they nerfed her into the ground cause sojourn was running rampant. so i started playing brigette now, in a few months they'll nerf her too.
I’m an absolute tank as Brig with 7,000 healing most of the time? Shield bash, whip shot and then flailing like a mad man while jumping and dodging slow or underestimating dmg people or sneaking into the back line and killing off supports and snipers
The thing is, when you say she's the worst support, I think we need to remember that "worst" is relevant. All the supports are playable right now. I just don't go brig often because mercy damage boost, kirko suzu and fox, Lucio speed, Ana sleep and nade, zen discord. They all add an extra bit of utility that I feel brig lacks. But you can still get a lot of value out of her if played right. The big thing for me is the change from over armor to over-health was a low-key massive nerf. Her ability to give armor was a big part of her kit and it made her ult way better in ow1.
I've felt that Brig can still be really strong in the right situation but a very situational pick. Her kit syncs very well with Junker Queen. Also you had a positive win rate at 54% with her so thats nice.
I don’t think any character is inherently bad in OW, just bad for team comp. A big part of OW is working with your team, and countering the other team, which is why swapping and learning many characters is important
When playing Brigitte it's literally what most supports want. It's to be part of the action. It's so fun playing brigette because...swinging and bonking enemies, who wouldn't like that? Personally, if there's anything in buffing her, it's probably a somewhat lifesteal in her passive so that she could at least survive a lil longer in the front lines. Overall, she is indeed the worst support character because her playstyle is very hard to balance between support healing and support assist kills. Aside from that it's also her kit and survivability, a frontal support with barely any health and shield to protect her is really lacking. Gameplay wise, if anyone tries to play Brigette they would just forget they were support lmao
The annoying thing about Brigette is that she's super good, but you need an aggressive team to actually push in with her. Otherwise she either has to push in alone and die, or she has to sit back with the team and do basically nothing for most of the game. The problem is that most DPS and tank players don't realize this, so when Brigette does poorly they never even consider that it's their own playstyle at fault more than the hero or the one playing her.
As an old Brig main I can say that the season 3 buffs were needed but she know looks balanced in high ranks. Maybe it's a little bit complicated to play her on low ranks since the teamplay is not the key to win a game under plat.
She’s a brawler man. She got a (paper) shield and can keep herself alive if she is good. She can also provide a decent amount of healing. I very much enjoy learning how to play her. My brother is also the best brig player I know lol
Brigitte isn't technically bad, the issue is just that for nearly any given team comp, another support could provide more value. She's got a conceptual issue in that she needs to land hits to keep her heals up, but she's got very limited range and these days she really isn't built for playing in the frontline anymore. Personally, I'd like it if Blizzard traded in another 50 health for armour, because right now she can sometimes feel less survivable than other supports, even though she's meant to be a bit more tanky
It's a very fun character to play. I just feel sometimes the enemy team focus fire on briggite shield and I either die or have to go away from the fight. Seems a bit frustrating sometimes
Anytime I see a brig as my fellow support I'm immediately annoyed because 1. That automatically makes me main healer 2. That turns me Into more of a healbot having another person constantly eating damage. 3. She just dies so fast now and often doesn't help me for shit healing in games
I never really watched any 'small creators' but since last month I've gotten a lot of their video's like yours today. @@CrazyScorpioo I totally agree she’s definitely not like the other support she’s very different and that could be why people don’t like her and she’s probably also annoying to play against that probably why people hate on her❤️
Brig is just unnecessarily hated. I will defend my main support at all costs.
0:04 that aged like fine wine
holy shit i thought i was watching a huge ow content creator this video was actually really good
Haha thank you
The brig haters are weird af, I'm a brig and rein main and I've played since overwatch 1's release. I'll end with most healing, most damage, and a shitton of mitigation and saves and somehow I still have people tell me to swap off brig as if the problem isn't that we have 2 dps with 1k damage lmao
Shes great at diving, defending so your tank doesn't need to peel as much, and shes an amazing duelist, and by god she has so many animation cancels, I'm able to kill moiras before they can even react and fade away lmao, her burst potential is scary.
Brig can actually be pretty oppressive with her kit and i enjoy playing her quite a bit.
Same 😁
that was ow1. in ow2 her whip is far less useful, her bash lost almost all utility, and her ult is "useless" in Flats' words
... and the healing of her repair packs was nerfed from ow1 to ow2. and ofc healing tanks rewards less ult charge in ow2 (which is also a nerf to hog's breather btw)
Which is more than most support aside from Ana.
the “AYYY” right before the rank down after winning the majority of your games is too relatable 😭
Keep up the great work my dude! New sub👌 Hälsningar från Småland😉
Fun vid, crazy u only got a couple hundred subs
Thank you ❤️
How to make Brig a real support: get rid of shield bash (without stun it's a meme), give her 50 more HP, 200 more shield health, E changed: Charge! - give allies a boost of move speed and attack speed for a short duration. New ult: Flail flurry - Brig spins her mace around her for a short duration, knocking back enemies hit by it, procing her passive and reducing damage taken by 50%.
omg it’s such a coincidence i get this video recommended to me as i was literally playing brig for the first time in a long time literally yesterday
(i had to play her for a challenge)
i never really played her bc i felt like she was “too easy” and also just not a great healer. but when i was playing her yesterday i realized she’s actually not as bad as everyone thinks she is PLUS she’s actually really fun to play.
but i will agree, she is probably the worst support in overwatch but has potential if you can put her to good use.
I really don't get people flaming others for picking non meta heros, every hero is competent in the right hands..
Bro, your vids should have more views seriously
I'm already average with basically every hero but you inspired me to spend some more time on some of them :)
Thank you 😊
For a channel with under 1k subs the video quality is great, i subbed
It's pretty easy to make Brig look broken if no one's shooting at you
Thats why u play around corners, in cover or in the backlines and go for picks the majority of the time. The shield is for when you wanna go for bigger plays with your teams help
You could say the same thing about Sigma, corners are everyone's friend.
It depends and in some brigitte matches I had on Comp some will say No Brig which forces me to run a baptiste if my brother takes over he ends up replacing Brigitte with Mercy.
this is a beautiful vid not too long and alot of effort loved it
I have 300+ hours on Brig… yea I know.
Brig is by far my favorite support to play. I have usually around 50-60% win rate but people still like to think that everyone is bad on her
I’ve been making the same analogy recently about the paladin in WoW 🤣 shield bash is kinda kinda warrior charge or intercept, but passive healing and repair packs gives the pala vibe. She’s like a cool mix between the two, so glad I saw someone else who realized this 😅
Brig is just so fun when u get the hang of her cause she can low key solo most characters if u play well
Hey man I really enjoyed this test and compilation. You are fun and have a good attitude and make me wanna try Brig!
I am learning brigitte and she is a lot of fun to play, she's a little like moira where you have the damage output quite high
Very fun video, high quality aswell would recommend gj!
Thank you 😊
A good thing to know is that Brigs heal cannot stack so you throw a health pack at a teammate wait til its done then throw another if they are insanely low but make sure to prioritize the team members you know will need them
you can just hear the Swedish in your voice lmao
I know they want to keep stuns only on tanks, but maybe shield bash could cause the enemy to pop in the air for a second so they're exposed for attack but not stunned so they can use fade or boop or something to try and save themselves.
Awesome Video !
I would suggest setting the fov a bit higher.
1. Its personally more enjoyable watching gameplay.
2. It gives more Information while playing because of the increased field of view.
Thank you! , pretty sure I have it maxed out but if not I’ll increase it 😄
when it comes to healing per second it might be the worst, but the AOE....
I realised during my games using Brigitte, the ones who tell me to switch are the dive tanks, flanks and meta slaves on my team.
I'm also trying to get my brig skill better also
found u on tik tok absolutely love ur content!
Thank you so much ☺️
am i tripin or you have only 280subs?? you deserve at least 100K whattttt
Just turned it up to 300
Really good Video! Keep up that good work :)
Hey man just keep going as your are and you'll be big in the future you've got a new sub
Thank you 😄
I suck as her so bad, I'll heal everyone else and fight next to others but I never get healed by the other support and I die instantly.
I'm in lower ranks so people are still learning to aim. So when ball, Winston or another diver jumps on my team and our tank is doomfist or blind, I switch to brig to be a backline support.
The second I do that, I get told to switch off brig. But end up making an actual difference instead of dying every spawn.
Just ignore them and do your thing. They just need someone to blame and brigitte ends up being the target when losing sadly.
I Don’t think anyone picked her besides me during this entire challenge 😂
She definitely has the most dynamic support gameplay, maybe other than lucio. You can actually frontline, flank, and weave in and out of fights unlike most other supports that just stay in the backline. Her and lucio are my go to supports when I don't wanna just heal bot all game LOL
Her and Lucio definitely have a more unique playstyle than most supports for sure. I'm not that great with Lucio though So Kiriko is my go to usually :)
If you were playing any of the supports just as healbots, then you simply sucked at support.

This was a really entertaining video. It’s made me want to try Brigitte haha
great work and pertty cool video actually coz I love playing brigitte
plz do ashe next ty
Im just going to subscribe because of the suffering you had to feel sometimes
Thank you 🙏 The last hours were tough ngl
“Worst” doesn’t always mean “bad.”
as a brig main i found this video super entertainer, brig is def the most fun support along with zen but takes a lot of skill
As a Brig main who changed his account name to SAVEBRIG back when she was getting hard nerfed because of GOATS meta, feels good to see others finally saying shes the worst support. Strong if your good, but so is any character
need more like this man, great work
ah i remember maining mercy when everyone was saying she was bad, then s3 came along and you know what they did? they nerfed her into the ground cause sojourn was running rampant. so i started playing brigette now, in a few months they'll nerf her too.
I’m an absolute tank as Brig with 7,000 healing most of the time? Shield bash, whip shot and then flailing like a mad man while jumping and dodging slow or underestimating dmg people or sneaking into the back line and killing off supports and snipers
Me with 19 hours on brig:
How did we get here
Meanwhile:
Play of the game, "Swiggy swooty I'm coming for the booty."
I love that you did this before the buff because she’s legit strong now lol
Personally, I'd like it if Blizzard traded in another 50 health for armour, because right now she can sometimes feel less survivable than other supports, even though she's meant to be a bit more tanky
great video man good job
It's a very fun character to play. I just feel sometimes the enemy team focus fire on briggite shield and I either die or have to go away from the fight. Seems a bit frustrating sometimes
Anytime I see a brig as my fellow support I'm immediately annoyed because 1. That automatically makes me main healer 2. That turns me Into more of a healbot having another person constantly eating damage. 3. She just dies so fast now and often doesn't help me for shit healing in games
Really good video and you are so good with brig
Thank you 😄
I’d love it if her shield bash can stun again, but with a longer cooldown
I think she’s really good on certain maps but doesn’t work in a lot of them
(And her passive goes like the whole ilios well point which is insane)
wow did not know that, now I know what support to play on illios 😄
@@CrazyScorpioo yeah the visual from her passive looks small but it’s actually huge
She plays fine on every map.
Can you make some more of this 10 hour series? I quite enjoy it.
Working on one for sigma right now, should be up in a couple of days 😊
