Good God, I remember this song as a kid when I first played it on the Nintendo 64 version I was like wow I can’t believe you can actually play fallen songs as a cut scene with a general robot and this is the kind of song I will listen to if I were going through those times this song is like a motivator to me for my ears as it always gives me pumped whether it’s through the game itself or through life in general overall, As for a Japanese song, it’s up there with POP SONG by Kenshi Yonezu.
The theme of a giant clockwork-driven combat mech summoned by the sound of a conch shell blown by a teenage ninja that can only do so after eating his girlfriend's cooking. Bottom line: The 90's in Japan was a crazy time for video gaming. Edit: that can blow bombs out of its pipe and has a repeating laser powered by money that's fired from its nose.
It's not too late to get another N64 and another copy of Mystical Ninja: Starring Goemon. Though, I should warn you that Mystical Ninja: Starring Goemon and it's sequel Goemon's Great Adventure are very expensive these days. I'm happy I still have my childhood copies of those games.
Don't get any of that nonsense in your head, it's "Funky". I mean, the robot has giant fro, it should be obvious (especially with the other two versions of that, "Gorgeous" "Charming")
R.I.P. Mr.Ichirou Mizuki, I will listen to your song forever.
Rip. He was such a legend.

I miss the Ganbare Goemon series so much. Another Konami title turned into a Pachinko Machine. Rest in Peace.
This song has been carved into me. I am made of this song. Before I am a person, I have this song in me.
this is amazing, sounds so much better than the original

Hey, don't forget he's a big time actor in American films too!

And the song itself follows all the canons of 1970s mecha anime openings. Even sung by Mizuki Ichiro (although modern covers aren't bad either).
Teenage? Goemon is 35 o_O
@@AtticusRh0des I don't believe that Goemon is ever given a specific, canon age, but he's definitely not a teenager.
