I agree the Blueparrot 450 is a good one, hours of use before recharge. Hands free setups.

Never had a blueparrott before and just bought this one yesterday. Only charged it and tested it, sounds good and I can actually hear the person on the other end and that’s an improvement! We’ll see how I wind up liking it in time. Great video, thanks y’all!

I've had the b350xt for 6 years, No problems, I replaced the battery after 5 years, still works great.
I decided to get a second headset so I got the b450xt, but right away I realized it is heavier than my b350xt. And slides around on my head, the sound quality and volume is about equal, the main thing I like better on my b350xt is it's at least 40% lighter. I think I will trade it for another b350xt. I have had my 350xt around 5 years never had a problem with it. I tried the 450xt i agree it’s heavy compared to the 350. I didn’t like the 450 it hurt my ear by pushing in on my ear it was uncomfortable. So I’m going back with the 350

Good video just bought one, can I use voice command from my contacts
If you have an Android phone, you can change the Bluetooth settings for the headset to only do calls and the speaker to only play media. That way they aren't fighting for control. Don't know if iPhone offers the same feature.

Just came across your video and I’m thinking about getting either the 450s or 650xt. Would you say all the kinks in the 650s were worked out w/ the updates? I’m asking b/c a lot of reviews on them arent too good. Thanks

Glad you liked the review. It’s definitely a good headset. In the meantime we’ve moved up to the Garmin DEZL headset. Be sure to check that video as well. The top strap and ear cushion is more comfortable and there’s a second earpiece you can put on for downtime entertainment.

Thanks for introducing to the concept of trucking headsets!!! You may have just helped me kill two, or three depending how you count, birds with one stone.
Not a trucker but I do work at a distribution centre, inside not outside so I normally don't interact with the truckies and hence hadn't really noticed the headsets, but Covid means I've taken to eating outside for the last few years and the trucks going past are _loud_ so I took to wearing headphones but then I had to worry about losing my situational awareness in parking lots etc. and issues with hearing people talking to me and I dabbled in open ear and bone conductor headsets for awhile but too soft for dealing with road noise and trucks and I just wanted something that could do everything. And then the swivel screw on the right hand side on my headset went out... and I did stumble across one ear instead of two ear headset video for office workers but it wasn't until I saw your video I realised headsets _designed_ to combat truck noise while also leaving you situationally aware was a thing and I now had a key search term to play with. Also very belated realisation that I was acting like a singer constantly pulling one side of their headset half off _a lot_ more than I realised so really I was basically treating my headset like headphones anyway. Also thanks to the 'truck headset’ keywords I discovered 2 in 1 headset and headphone combos so that was great.
Plus I don't currently have a hands free way of talking people while driving so that's an unexpected third issue you may have just helped me solve so thank you!
*'singer _headphones_ ’ and 'Treating my _headphones_ like a headset' not the other way around. Even my mind is getting them mixed up now. XD

We now have a Garmin with a second earpiece that’s removable. So you can use it both ways! As a single or double headset. And the top is softer for longer comfort.

The nice thing about them, is you CAN use them while they are charging if you get a longer charger cable.

@@TheJoyofTrucking I'm using a Jabra. Doesn't have the noise cancelling like the Bluetooth, but can't beat the price. 👍🏼
Blue parrot has a great warranty. They replaced one of mine just over a year ago. It was close to a year old at the time.

It’s been over a year that Kevin has moved in to the Garmin DEZL 200. He doesn’t recall the B450XT having the features you are inquiring about. But maybe newer ones do?
@TheJoyofTrucking I have the B350-xt and yeah mine does. I have it set on blueparrott app for preferred voice commands. And have my phone google voice assistant. I say Hey Google and then it'll listen to anything I say.
