I love the adaptations to different eras! Back when I bought my 4th ed. "Black Book" in the late 80s, the only option was "Cthulhu Now" an update to play in modern times (the 1980s). I love the classic 1920s mythos settings, but want to try the Wild West and Medieval period too!
interesting but youd think there would be more extreme modifiers for old age as during that period 30 years old was considered old!. Thanks for the upload though
Referring to this era of history as "The Dark Ages" is such a Eurocentric idea. The year 950 was smack dab in the middle of what is known as the Golden Age of Islamic Science. Anytime Leofrick is struggling to lead a group of illiterate peasants across a field of mud, I just want to picture a Family Guy style cutaway to a bunch of academics in Baghdad having a wonderful time in a peaceful, technologically advanced city.
