- This tandem rig is super effective for Striped, Striped Bass, or Rockfish (it's all the same fish) whether you are fishing in the bay, the river, or ocean. Zach of Oceans East does an excellent job showing how to tie and how to set up this tandem rig.

thats pretty cool! thanks for sharing
Neat rig.
simple to understand video, thanks! also, love the store. my first stop at the beach
Neat idea thank you. Could you do something similar to target bluefish with metal spoons like Drone or Clark brand? Without the plastic obviously.
From what we can deduct, you would most likely suffer from line twist with spoons!
What depth of water is this set up usually fished in? In Barnegat bay NJ, max depth is about 12'.
Can I use this method for fishing on jetty’s I’m new to striped fishing and want to catch my first striped this year and I want to know what the best lures are 8 heard diamond jigs are good and buck tails buy if I’m fishing from jetty do I still pot something on the buck tail or just fish the buck tail?
Fish the single Bucktail always with a teaser, or grub
Will it work as good with medium action tackle for trolling?
Is there an issue with lines tangling?. Thank you.
Why ty the Heavier jig on the shorter?
the idea is to have both bucktails at the same depth, with the lighter one coming later. this way, a fish that misses the heavier lure is likely to see the lighter one. Hope this helps!
What brand are the buck tail jig
And where can I buy them
