- This Austral summer, Sea Shepherd’s Flagship, the Steve Irwin, is headed for the Southern Ocean for the organization’s 12th Southern Ocean Defense Campaign, Operation Icefish 2015-16.
Led by Captain, Siddharth Chakravarty, Sea Shepherd will once again defend the pristine waters of Antarctica from poachers, with the aim to shut-down their illegal activities in the world’s last great wilderness.

I have commented before, and each time i have, Sea Shepard has disabled comments for the current post. I wonder why. Is it due to their weak possition? Is it due to an inability to refute facts? I will let everyone decide for themselves as I call upon Sea Shepard to allow and show all comments that have been posted on previous video clips. Does Sea Shepard have something to hide? If not, stop closing comments when facts are stated in opposition to your ideological framework.

DOLPHINS and WHALES do not belong to JAPAN neither any other country else!!! Since 1946, the IWC has been managing hunting large cetaceans around the world. As a result of threats of whale extinction, the IWC had to adopt a protective attitude. In 1986, the IWC imposed an unlimited moratorium on commercial hunting of large cetaceans. Japan circumvents this rule and continues hunting under the pretext of carrying out "scientific research"!!!

Irwin will get back up from the Sam Simon and the Barker once they are repaired and the small boats loaded up they will go down to help the Irwin. Viking and Kunlun are wanted fugitives Japan also has a bounty on them. the objectives are 1. find Viking and Kunlun and arrest them send them to a port in Africa, South America, or Australia KEEP THEM OUT OF THE PACIFIC! if Kunlun or Viking escape into the Pacific they will head to Asia and sell their catch on the Chinese Black Market. these guys are pirates and they need to be stopped. 2. GET NISSHIN MARU! Nisshin Maru is the enemy and the leader of the Kyoto Supaku Fleet for 12 years this boat has been coming to Antartica to kill whales. Sea Shepherd needs to stop it and send it back to Toyko with no whales and place it under arrest. ICR must be stopped there is no need for the whale meat sushi market in our world.

I reciently had a dream. and in that dream, I Was onboard the Bob Barker, we were attacking the Nisshin maru. and I said ( In the words of Thanos) ," Fine. Ill do it myself!" so I jumped aboard the mothership. went into the engine room, planted a C4 on the fuel tank, stole a life boat, and then watched the ship go BOOM!
They will take all ships they have as they always have done every year. They just say they only taking the Steve so the whalers think that :)

The 1946 Convention succeeded the International Agreement for the Regulation of Whaling signed in London on 8 June 1937 and its Protocols signed in London on 24 June 1938 and 26 November 1945. It regulated the commercial, scientific and aboriginal catches of the 89 countries members. The objective of accreditation was to protect every species of whale from overfishing and to establish an international system for the regulation of whaling in order to ensure the conservation and development of whale stocks in order to safeguard For future generations the Biodiversity of the oceans.
Kunlun and Viking first then Nisshin Maru. they need to get the pirates first Kunlun and Viking are wanted by everyone including Japan these guys go down with illegal gillnets and they poach fish in international waters. CITIS does not outlaw fishing in Antartica but they do outlaw gillnets. Japan has put a bounty on Kunlun and VIking for selling illegally caught bass in their sushi stalls and CCAMLAR has placed Black, Purple, and Red Notices on them for illegal fishing. Japan is a member of CCAMLAR and their so called whaling program is keeping most of the ecosystem in check but it is still illegal because whales eat krill and ICR kills whales and eats them. Kunlun and Viking are destroying the chain with their gillnets both whale, krill, and bass can get caught. gillnets can kill merine life,they sink boats, they can destroy reefs and shipwrecks, and they can wash up on beaches and kill reseachers. Kunlun and Viking are pirates and they need to be stopped before Sea Shepherd makes their move on Nisshin Maru.
Sam Simon from "the Simpsons" have just bought a new modern ship, for SeaShepperds to use. So atm they have 5 or 6 ship's in the fleat.

Hold on, not a criticism, but seeking an explanation here. We have millions if not a billion people protein deficient, and ranging from periodically hungry to starving in this world...and sea shepherd is cutting nets, and dumping many thousands of tons of dead fish into the ocean to stop the fishing of the Chilean Sea Bass, or Patagonian Tooth Fish. The nets and long lines cut by the Sea Shepherd are no longer assessable to the illegal fishermen, but they will continue to catch, kill, and attract, and catch and kill fish and other marine life forever...further reducing what is in the oceans, whereas, at least people get to eat what the alleged poachers bring up. How is this effort to kill fish to deny the illegal fishing helping anything?
its now 2020, has Sea Shepherd been back to Antartica since 2016 to simply patrol and check out if there is any illegal activity in the southern ocean?

Man, these kind of actions are desperately needed on land as well... the U.S has lost it's heart when it comes to the wilderness and it's wildlife...so many animals will be wiped out before long ... and alot of it is because of the big industrial mofeias... like oil , fracking,mining and the (cattle and sheep) livestock (weal fare ranches) ...
The most part of it is , the top dogs of the wildlife organization s like cloud foundation , return to freedom and The A.S.P.CA ,&The United States Humane society of America & many other s have turned to darting wildlife to surpress breeding (PZP) and now are doing in feild spading of wild horses (mares) and in field CASTRATIONS of stallions without sedition or fallow up vet care ... for the mares it's extremely dangerous ,DEADLY....
To many mares (during in vet hospitals have died from the surgery) and it was stopped..now the NUTS IN THE WHITE HOUSE ARE ALLOWING THIS CRAP TO GO FORWARD... WITH INTENTIONS OF WIPING OUT HUNDREDS OF YEARS OF GENETICS IN VERY VERY LOW NUMBER HERDS , TO LOW NOW TO BE GENETICALLY VIABLE.....I JUST HATE MOST OF THE 2 LEGGED SUBHUMANS.....BUT I AM SO GLAD YOU ARE A GREAT PART OF THIS HUMAN RACE ....YOU REPRESNT THE BEST PART OF HUMANITY....THANK YOU ALL..

Germany under repairs The Farose seized all of Sea Shepherd's ships and small boats plus the crews they can't leave until the bail is paid and they get new boats.
