I'm so happy I found you on here because I really love the honesty and in depth examples you teach. I really wish there was an plastic overlay of each rose petal placement that would help me allot. I think my strokes need work but you sure give me hope thanks. keep teaching us . Janie

I've watched perhaps 27 rose tutorials as a very very novice artist but this tutorial is by far the best one! and you have a lovely calming voice !!! i especially appreciated the stroke technique explained in the beginning. true respect to you
Thank you. I do try my best to make it easy to understand and take the fear out of learning to paint. I appreciate your letting me know, it gives me incentive to keep on at this.
Thank you, I try to break it down to make it easier and the nice thing is as you paint them over and over you develop your own style or one you like better than mine.
Maybe this will help me get that rose to look like a rose. I'm very frustrated with it. I think your explanation and pre- painting demo will really help me. I get you. Lol. Thank you so much.
That is a very beautiful Trio of Yellow Roses; I'm still trying to learn and after a very long time, I finally made a rose. You're so talented. Thank you for teaching this; you're very clear on your instructions. This helps me so much. Thank you. Pamela Groppe, Do you know where can I find that chart that compares the three different brands of paints? I'm trying to find it. I want to try to paint a rose for my mother's birthday.
Oh, O'kay, Thank you so VERY MUCH!!! :) I love your work, I love your birds, your flowers and leave, just all of your work, really. I've been subscribed for a year. Good work , Can you redraw it in pencil please
Do you mean provide a pattern?
@@PamelaGroppe I do not understand.
Thank you so much for this tutorial, after 17 years of painting on and off, I could not paint a rose!
You are so welcome! It does take practice and I am always learning little tricks that improve my results, so keep on painting!
Yellow roses were pretty but I'm still learning from u
Practicing helps so much so keep on painting.
How beautiful drawing. How to draw a nature spring drawing
Thank you.
The camera doesn’t get it all can’t see it all!
Try the other rose tutorials, it works the same and may have better angles.
Dear tell me Brush number ?
It varies by the size of the design and rose, but in this lesson I use a #10 flat for the smaller rose and #12 flat for the larger.
@@PamelaGroppe thnx❤️
Loading the brush is the most important thing in this technique and you never show it.
I have several vids and blog posts that go over that. Here is one of many: ua-cam.com/video/aOHbSHhpRKY/v-deo.html
